Do not just fly down to the bottom over the center halfway down you get dismounted and fall to your death
Stay to the walls/over the blue "water" you will not be dismounted

To begin Memories go near Veritistrasz and Stay a While.
Listen all stories from Dwarf until Memories appear.

You can't click the thing you need to do to do the objective, it just says "You can't do that right now"

This quest takes place down at the bottom of the Ruby Lifeshrine (thank you, Hyphie, for pointing out the coordinates of 61.99, 72.21 for the item you have to click). In order to get back up, the ferry currently marked on the map (as of this date) is not the actual location of the ferry. The actual location of the ferry is the dragon called Urlostrasz, located at 61.0, 71.4. Click him to go back up.

If you do not stay and listen and get up you will never be able to get this quest.

When doing Stay a While and Memories, patience and a Goblin Glider Kit are your key to success.

Note: Mage's Slow Fall would get the job done too. Dracthyr's Glide and Demonhunter's Glide would work as well. All others would do well to use a Goblin Glider Kit. I almost pulled it off trying to use Disengage at the last moment on my hunter, but frame rate issues in the well made timing this impossible.

Patience during Stay a While, because the dialogue is slow and how to progress it are not entirely intuitive. Under some graphics settings, a person may not even be able to know to click on Veritistrasz to progress the dialogue because of the lack of the new npc "click me" glow. So, accept the quest, sit and watch the chat window, wait for Veritistrasz to sigh. Then click him and progress the dialogue. He will speak a few lines in the text of the chat window, when he goes silent, click him again and choose the obvious line to advance the story he wants to tell. When he is finished, there is a turn-in to him, followed by Memories.

Completing Memories about drove me to madness. The mini-map indicates that the target is underground, so I searched in vain for a cave entrance that leads under the Ruby Life Pools. Even the information here on Wowhead was not entirely helpful. I finally pieced it together and went to the central well/pit and tried flying down on my new dragon-riding mount.

Note: My video card (nvidia 3080 Ti) isn't a potato, but it ain't the latest-greatest either, so it surprised me that my frame rate went into the toilet while inside the well/pit. There is something in there in dire need of optimization in 10.0.2

This proved impossible to navigate because the location has a hard-coded dismount and you will likely die with no way to get to your body (I certainly did). On my fifth attempt, I tried with a Goblin Glider Kit and got to the bottom alive for the first time. Then it was just a matter of finding the ferry dragon to get me back to the top, easily done, but the low frame rate made it hard to navigate where I was aiming my steps with any accuracy.

After he goes through the time capsule, you have the option to ask him to tell his stories again or request a copy of his Time Capsule Letter. Once you have the letter, the option isn't available in his dialogue menu but if you destroy the letter, it reappears.

Cant find this quest even tho you completed "Stay a While"?

Sit down again and keep talking to him for a super long time...
Quest will show up after he talks about his love for someone

I literally stumbled over the follow-up quest that brings some more dialogue that I won't spoil here.

Go to the Obsidian Citadel in The Waking Shores
Take the staircase near Wrathion's quest hub, entrance at 27.42, 61.19 directly across from the lava pool.
Sneak past or dispatch the mix of elite/regular mobs until you get to the circular room with the blue shield in front of you.
Head left down the staircase continuing to sneak or stab as needed, then take a left into the first room you see.
In the bookcase on the righthand side of the room there is a book you can interact with to pick up Partially Destroyed Diary which grants you the quest.

If anyone is curious how this works behind the scenes, there are NINE hidden tracking quests that keep track of which dialogs your character has seen for Stay a While:

-- First dialog complete
-- Second dialog complete
-- Third dialog complete
-- Fourth dialog complete
-- Fifth dialog complete
-- Sixth dialog complete
-- Seventh dialog complete
-- Eighth dialog complete
-- Final dialog complete

If you say you are busy to skip all the dialog, you can always come back later and finish listening.

Only after completing are you offered Memories.

If anyone's like me and not expecting both quest-criteria to be in the same place... they are!
I spent way too much time going upwards to find that time-capsule when it is right there where the glyph is.

If you were like me and couldnt figure out how to progress this when you first hit the waking shores and skipped, you can go back and /sit and then the option to talk will appear (zone button, and then progress the dialog by interacting with him).

The NPC dialogue that goes along with this quest:

The player reaches the bottom of the Ruby Lifeshrine, and activates a Mysterious Glyph on a pillar near Mazastrasz and Crystastrasza.

The player grabs the Time Capsule that appeared after activating the glyph, then returns it to Veritistrasz.

Veritistrasz says: It has been so long since I left this here, I barely remember what was in it.

Veritistrasz starts looking through the time capsule.

Veritistrasz says: A pressed leaf, I'm sure I thought that was important at the time? Oh, this is an old focus for tending to the eggs, I remember this!
Veritistrasz says: There is a lot to go through here and these old bones can only take so much, I will have to check through it later. Oh.. hmm... apparently I left a letter too.

Veritistrasz says: Oh Titan's... I... I barely recognize the dragon who wrote this. I was so hopeful when I left. I was so sure we could make a difference.
Veritistrasz says: What I wouldn't give to feel just the smallest fraction of that again.

Veritistrasz says: Thank you, young one, you have given me some things to think about.

If players speak with Veritistrasz again after completing the quest, they can ask for (and receive) a copy of the letter that he wrote.

It's not difficult to get down at all. No Glider Kit or flying mount required.

From the quest giver, run upstairs, directly through the circular area (don't turn) and down some stairs. There's a Ruby Whelpling there.

Look right, and see a basin with water falling into it. Do a running jump with your ground mount into it.

From there, there are a series of small jumps down, following the wall. You may need to recover some HP from the fall damage.

(If you miss and die, just res at the bottom).

This quest follows Stay a While, which is the first quest in the Veritistrasz subachievement of All Sides of the Story. To continue the thread, you need to retrieve a book to start Memories Revived.

vá para essa localização 57.83, 66.80 e você encontrara Veritistrasz, sente-se ao lado dele e fique conversando com ele ate ele liberar a missão para você, isso demora um pouco, pois ele conta um pouco da sua historia, obs: você vai ter que ficar perguntando para ele, para ele continuar contanto a historia.

Then I took took the follow-up quest and when he started talking, I didn't want him to ever stop.

Description

Thank you for listening to me, young one. I have a favor to ask. Don't worry. No more stories. When we left this place, I left a... time capsule of sorts. Would you... would you be able to retrieve it for me? We left it at the bottom of the Ruby Life Shrine, hidden behind one of the pillars. I hid it with a sigil. If you activate it, you should see my time capsule.
