After you speak with Fao, go into the tent and click the battle plans. When you speak with Talonstalker Kavia, use the telescope.

Hi all

I present You Storyline Wrathion's Gambit. This Storyline is part of Waking Hope which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Storyline in order I done it:

1. Wrathion Awaits - Fly 42.4 66.7 to see Wrathion
2. Lessons From Our Past - Speak with Scalecommander Emberthal Movie will start.
3a. Sharp Practice - Test the skills of 8 Blacktalon Assassins. Just speak with noobs around and fight with them.
3b. Best Plans and Intentions - You need to:
- Speak with Archivist Edress 43.7 67.2 wait until conversation finish
- Speak with Fao the Relentless 42.4 66 and after conversation press on Blacktalon Battle Plans in tent
- Speak with Forgemaster Bazentus 42.8 66.8
- Speak with Talonstalker Kavia 42.3 69.3 then use Scouting Scope
5a. Talon Strike - Djaradin defenses disrupted until 100%
5b. No Time for Heroes - Kill 3 NPC: Piercer Gigra 35.5 68.5 on top of tower , Olphis the Molten 35 66.7 , Modak Flamespit 35.4 60.6 on top of tower.
7. The Courage of One's Convictions - Speak with Wrathion then move on bridge until Movie will start. Then go inside Citadel and kill 12 mobs inside.
8. Taking the Walls - When You enter Citadel You can pick up this quest. Now You need to Speak with Wrathion He will move you to 26.8 60.1 to destroy Siege He will do it 2 more times like that. After destroy last siege go kill Champion Choruk 27.1 57.
9. Obsidian Oathstone - First speak with Wrathion the npress on Obsidian Oathstone 27.5 63.2
10. A Shattered Past - Enter vaults beneath the Citadel 27.1 61.1 and collect 12 Oathstone Fragment.
11. Forging a New Future - First go and press on Earth-Warder's Forge 24.6 60.9 then collect from Animated Cindershards mobs or pick up from Cindershard Coal 6 Cindershard Coal.
12. The Spark - First press on Forge and after few sec pick up from it Reformed Oathstone Fragments.
13. Restoring the Faith - Fly and speak with Wrathion 27.3 62.6 movie will start. After jump on Wrathion ( in dragon mode ) when You land movie will start. Finishing this quest will finish storyline.

Everytime I click on the Battle Plans I get a chuckle.

I just imagine it saying "Have the Hero do all the work"

During this quest you and Scalecommander Emberthal chat with various members of Wrathion's entourage.

If you leave the Obsidian Bulwark, Emberthal will despawn. When you return, she respawns and says:

Scalecommander Emberthal says: I believe I could be of some help to you. Let us review Wrathion's preparations for the assault.

Speaking to Fao the Relentless:

My strategies come from my ancestors, the great warriors who fought the Mogu for generations in Pandaria.

Might we review the battle plans?

My best strategists have created a plan that should have a high probability of success, with sufficient forces.
But please, review our plan. Your opinion is highly valued, champion.

Then, review the Blacktalon Battle Plans.

Scalecommander Emberthal says: Fao is right--the plan is sound. But I fear we lack the forces to execute it successfully.

As you approach Archivist Edress:

Archivist Edress says: It is an honor to be in the presence of such an esteemed ally of the Black Prince.

The Dragon Isles are rife with ancient knowledge. Will you aid me in cataloging the history of the Obsidian Citadel?

What has your research found?

Archivist Edress says: The walls of the Obsidian Citadel have stood strong for thousands of years.
Archivist Edress says: With that kind of strength, there is no way the djaradin could have attacked it head on.
Archivist Edress says: I suspect the djaradin have instead used their elemental magic to crack the earth beneath the Citadel, entering from within Neltharus, the Obsidian fortress.

Scalecommander Emberthal says: If the walls of the citadel are built to withstand the djaradin, they'll surely prove a challenge for us as well. This will only aid the djaradin defending there.

Next, speaking to Talonstalker Kavia:

Talonstalker Kavia says: I heard rumors you were here.

I've done a full survey of the forces occupying the Obsidian Citadel.

What have you observed?

Talonstalker Kavia says: It is best you see the size of their defensive force for yourself.

Then, use the Scouting Scope to observe the djaradin.

Scalecommander Emberthal says: So many... we do not have the forces to break through those defenses!

Finally, speaking to Forgemaster Bazentus:

Within the Obsidian Citadel lies the forge of the Earth-Warder. It can craft powerful weapons only dreamt of by mortal blacksmiths.

Tell me about the weapons in the Citadel.

The Earth-Warder's Forge created Obsidian Seared armor and weapons. A dragonkin equipped with such was a fair match for a hundred mortal soldiers.

We must reignite the flames of the forge so we can use its power again.

Thank you for the information.

Scalecommander Emberthal says: Some of those crafted weapons have surely fallen into djaradin hands. They can be used against us!

When you turn in the quest, Wrathion says:

Wrathion says: I will consider your advice.
Wrathion says: I value your judgment <name>. You are correct--our forces are few in number.
Wrathion says: But you forget... we also have myself. I am an incalculable advantage, and I will not be denied my legacy.

Description

Attacking the djaradin controlling the Obsidian Citadel will be no easy task. Even with Wrathion and his Blacktalon forces, this will be a fierce battle. Wrathion may be confident, but... I am not so certain. Perhaps we can speak to those helping to plan the strategy, and see if we can find any room for improvement.
