dont bother with the tentacles or crushers. its bugged so if you die to gaint, you have to abandon it and re do it to generate gaint. gaint comes after you killed your 20

To start assault use the spare rifles rack nearby. Quilboars will appear and attack.
Use button to shot them down, the gun kills them instantly. Button stuns mobs, but it's unnecessary.
Brug Housesmash will appear after killing 20 common quilboars, dies by few shots.

Use the spare rifle nearby and kill quilboar invaders with it, then kill Brug Housesmash when it appears.

For some odd reason, my FPS (which is normally consistently at 40+) TANKED during this quest. Went down to an average of 5 FPS. Don't know why. As soon as the quest was over, my FPS was restored. Not sure if anyone else had this problem.

Hi all

I think i start This story line in wrong order. But i put in order how i done in 100% you will reach part of achi. If you are at beginning better if you will start quest 1 then 6 ( quest 2-5 you will do later) Why i done it in this way ? After quest 5 Farmer Goldfield was not giving new quests ....

1. The Days Are Just Packed	Hobbs - You can find him in Seafarer's Rest. You need to go to Brennadam. You will see animation.	Sergeant Calvin
2. A Pocketful of Shells	Farmer Goldfield - Go to Goldfield Farmstead. You need to collect 20 Goldfield's Knife. They drop from mobs but after pick up loot you can carve them and get more of it.	Farmer Goldfield
3. A Reason to Stay	Dirty Pocketwatch - You need to collect 3 things ( one of them is item giving quest ). Other to are on north: Tarnished Locket and Battered Toy Sword.	Farmer Goldfield
4. Goldfield's War	Farmer Goldfield - Use Spare Rifles is on right side. Kill 20 quilboar invaders. after that you need to kill Brug Housesmash just wait for him for show up.	Farmer Goldfield

6. Bombs, Away	Sergeant Calvin - Go on bridge in Brennadam. On First stage you need to collect 8 Horde Explosive they are in village around buldings some of them can drop from sky but you have small time to pick them up ( they will explode ). 2nd stage is to blow up 2 Demolisher, they are on north behind last bulding. 7. The Battle for Brennadam	Auto start - Kill mobs and rescue citizens to get to 100%.	AUTO FINISH
8. You Have Their Orders	Mayor Roz - collect Warchief's Orders is droping from Champion Lockjaw Is behind last bulding on northwest.	Mayor Roz
9. Dousing the Flames	Mayor Roz - Use the Water Bucket to put out 15 fires around the Ruins of Brennadam. After bridge you have 2 buckets on left and on right 1 bucket use them to take down most of fire. After that go deeper Brennadam to fountain where you neve next few buckets use them to finish quest. 10. Heavy Artillery	Mayor Roz - Go on north behind last buldin is a hill get on it on top you will see tank ( If will be no mobs around get down the hill and back ) At first kill 2 mobs after that will come out from tank Commander Wormwood kill him to and jump in to the tank. Use it to kill Horde forcesthey will come from north ( skill 1 ). When you will get to 100% use skill 4 to Activate the Self Destruct. you will be catapult fly to place where you was picking up quest ( on bridge ).	Mayor Roz

21. Terror of the Kraul	Sergeant Calvin - Befor start quest will be animation. You need to kill Bramblefist the Maddened underground on west. Drink Flask of Enraging Vapors before fight. when finish Sergeant Calvin will wait for you underground.	Sergeant Calvin

Running an 8700k @5.0ghz, an NVMe m.2 SSD, and 2x 1080ti's and my FPS also dropped to single digits. It would freeze up completely at times, then be buttery smooth 144fps again for 2-3 seconds, then back down into single digits. Shame, too, since this seems like it would've been a lot of fun. Instead I ended up with a headache.

This quest keeps crashing my game client every time I pick up the gun to start it. As soon as I pick up the gun the client freezes and I get the spinning Windows cursor. If I let it sit eventually the event will start and I get a slideshow that's impossible to do anything. I maybe see 3 frames before the mobs eventually kill me but I am unable to do anything.

Earlier another quest to complete the foothold of Zuldazar gave me a slight problem, the dark irons turned me into a magma elemental and the game client froze for a few seconds but the quest resumed.

When the client crashes I don't get the blizzard client pop-up to report the crash so I don't get any sort of error message.

I have no addons installed, all my of my driver's are up to date. I can't tell you the last time I've seen a quest crash the game client repeatedly like this.

My computer is an i7 8700k with 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1070 at 1440p running off of a SSDs.

Don't "leave the vehicle" after slaying 20 of the briarback invaders. There's an ettin that appears after killing 20 that is needed to complete the quest. If you kill 20 and leave before killing the ettin you should just abandon the quest. I figured I would just kill another 20+ without abandoning the quest but the ettin never respawned for me.

Just an FYI - If you're like me and exit using the gun before killing Brug, you'll have to reenter using the gun, leave and enter again. The first time I entered, I killed for almost 20 minutes and he didn't spawn. I left and reentered and he was walking around in front of me.

The bug with this quest that sometimes caused your FPS to tank whilst you were in the quest's phased layer was fixed sometime during 8.1.5.
