You can find Ripe Purian inside Ripe Purian on the ground/tables all over the Bastion.
It is required to unlock some zone treasures.

Silver Strongbox located in several parts of the map.
They have the same mechanics,

Bring the Ripe Purian to the Silver Strongbox
Put it on the Tribute near the treasure chests
Steward appears and rewards you with a Steward's Silver Key
Use the key to open the chest
Steward's Golden Chest Special chest in the Hero's Rest

If you don't have the Ripe Purian, can come close to any Silver Strongbox treasure chest
And it will highlight you the location of items on the map

EDIT AND UPDATE: if you are having trouble looting this object, STAND CLOSER TO IT. stand on top of it if you have to. stupid bug but it worked for me after being unable to loot numerous.

anyone else having a problem looting these items lately? or is it just me? i do the animation to loot it, then i get stuck. then nothing. what am i doing wrong? someone please help. i tried disabling all addons so it isn't that.

The best place I've found to find a bunch of these is at Firstborne's Bounty just north of Hero's Rest. There are a bunch of barrels of them sitting around with the ripe ones on top of a few of them. About every time I go there I find 2 or 3, even without having the buff to show me where they are. Good luck!

You can do the initial Steward's Golden Chest quest and then do all of the silver chests on same day.
