i saw a quest appearing on the map but couldnt find this guy cause he is underground and most of the stuff happens atop, entrance is 57.66 66.97 for anyone seeking him out. There is also an innkeeper around.

The questline for Duroz & Kolgar is weekly lockout. You get stages 1 & 2 to start, followed by 3 & 4 the week after and finally stage 5 on the 3rd weekly reset.

The textbox dialogue when players interact with Kolgar:

I told him this trip was gonna be rough on him. He wouldn't listen.

After players have completed Pain Management, he has additional dialogue:

If the dragonspawn won't take my gold, I'll at least buy you a drink one day for helping.

Players can then ask, "Why are you traveling with a Dragonmaw?"

The same reason I'd travel with any orc. We all have blood on our hands. Duroz has the sense to know that washing it off won't make it go away.

There's something to learn from that.

After a weekly reset, players will be able to accept the next quest in the series, which opens the following dialogue:

There's never enough time. Not for anything we need to do.

After players have advanced through the questline and completed The Bitter End and Life After Life, Kolgar heads back to the inn. If he is interacted with now, his gossip dialogue is as follows:

<Kolgar stoops under the weight of both axes holstered to his back, but he does not move them.>

A week after finishing this questline, he can be spotted pacing with the Ruby Whelping around the life pools before walking towards Wingrest once in a while. His Dialogue when you talk to him is 'Life goes on.'

I love the story here, it's so emotional, a young orc inspired by an old soldier, and in the way orcs are, thinking how Duroz should have died in battle like a orc is meant to, but also learning about his regrets. While Kolgar is young and still learning to be a warrior, Duroz had lived it, and carried that regret of so much blood spilled, so many lives lost, what his clan did to the red dragonflight, and as Duroz aged, he learned to humble himself, look at his mistakes, and live with that regret.

It reminds me of Garrosh and Saurfang in northrend, how Varok wanted to try and teach Garrosh about honor by his own experiences, but unlike Kolgar, Garrosh never learned from Varoks experiences, only wanting to live up to his fathers actions, the glory and myth around him, and never having learned from any of it.

Kolgar seems to have started to learn about the regrets Duroz had, and maybe Duroz wanted to teach Kolgar not to live the life he did, not to die with nothing but regret in the end, but to have meaning.

I love stuff like this, it gives wow depth and feeling. Seeing that an old orc regrets what he did to red dragons really shows Kolgar that some choices cannot be unmade and carry with you. bravo to whoever added this and stuff like it. thank you

This entire Questchain touches upon Life&Death better than the entire !@#$show Expansion that Shadowlands was.....

This whole expansion was written by someone who was really concerned with "feelings". Rumor is Metzen saw this orc crying and knew he had to come back to fix wow.

It's a shame this quest is almost hidden away, partly due to the weekly lockouts. It's clear from the writing that whoever authored this deeply cares. Love small RP quests like this that give so much character to the world. Especially as a newer player who isn't 100% up to date with the history of WoW, so picking up tid bits here and there like this is amazing. 10/10.
