Dude that was amazing thats gotta be the best stuff I heard all dayXD... (and btw wowhead... on the confirmation code dont ever use the letter o and the number 0... it doesnt work)
Why are people complaining? We will be able to change specc in towns and in groups with that summoning-ritual-thingy, for FREE. I can allmost garantee that the amount of people that must help to summon the lexicon of power out of town will be 3-5, so we can use it easely in raids and even heroics. As long as they dont make the lexicon to be consumed after it has been used, this is gonna be great. And about people needing gear for offspeccs: so what? All gear are pretty much the same now a days anyway, at least for casters. The difference between dps- and healinggear is minimal, the only stat that seperaters them is hitrating...
The only thing about this whole dual spec business will be the obviousfighting over raid or instance drops that will occur when it comes into effect.People will be arguing with points like: "But my alternate spec is DPS so i need itmore than you." This will be said to a rogue DPS, by a retpally.Gear arguments are on the way.
Looking forward for this update. As Hadrial said, now I don't neither have to pay alot of money to repsec ^^
Ahhh, this is gonna be great! *starts collecting DPS gear for preist*
I would like to point out about all the people QQing about "Having to do it in town, or having to have a scribe with you."
id like to say this game is going to be awesome because ive been told so much about it
On page 13 ZaonUzuki was saying something about people saying you need a tank spec to do low-end instances like Deadmines. Well, my friend and I tested that. He and I both respecced our characters and added no talent points back into any of our trees. he was a 17 warrior and i was a 22 druid (these were just a couple random alts we had). I had some marginal intellect gear that you might see on a balance DPS druid and he had mostly strength and less stamina than i did. We made it through the instance without any trouble at all. I healed and put a few Wraths or Moonfires in here or there while he "tanked" in Battle Stance and we just walked in and ravaged the whole instance. This game got very easy IMO.Back to the dual spec topic, I think that it has merit. My resto druid takes a whole lot longer to kill things in cat form or just nuking than a moonkin, but with dual spec i could do dailies as a b00mk1n without changing gear, then switch back to being a tree for a guild raid. Or, if we have enough healers and are shorthanded on DPS (yes, this has happened on occasion in my guild 0_o) I could respec balance. With stacked spirit gear, 3 points in imp moonkin form would boost my spell damage, and I could maintain competent damage. I think that this is a good addition for raid healers or tanks because it allows them to do dailies or grind without spending large amounts of gold every week.
I don't get why give the hunter porta-stable a cd, it doesn't make sense. Maybe non-combat would work.
