To solve the random noobs that will say "but my second spec is tank!" impliment these rules...Main Spec Rolls Need.Alt Spec Rolls Greed.Main Spec is Your Current SpecAlt Spec is your Secondary Spec.If the player decides that this rule just wont work for them, chances are that player /fails, needs to l2play, and appears in the ony wipe animation xDsee problem solved. Macro to spam comming soon......
On the one hand, speaking as someone with a 64 main warrior that specs Prot or Fury, yay for dual-spec.On the other, boo for the max level bit. Also, Zaon? It IS a challenge to get to 60 or 70 when you can only play on the weekend and everyone you know is busy questing or doing something else, so you end up soloing. It's NOT as easy as everyone else thinks it is when you can't devote 6, 8, 12 hours of gaming at a stretch to level grind.
I agree w/ Zaon on a lot of his later points, but I could most certainly see how some ppl are &*!@ed about the lvl 80 requirement. My main is an 80 prot war gear to the teeth and I'm not willing to shell out 50g a night for 10 mans in my offspec so this is major improvement. Pls quit w/ the QQ about the fact u have to go back to a city to respec. IT'S FREE! AND YOU HAVE YOUR SAVED GLYPHS AND ACTIONBARS! What more could you want? Maybe an auto-pilot?I'm sure in a patch or two blizz will bump the requirement down to 70 or 60. Which would be perfectly fine by me. Lots of ppl like to lvl 50/50 as solo and dungeons. The problem is that its often hard to find a grp w/ the proper specs for a dungeon at those lvls. Too many dps and not enough ppl lvl as prot or healing specs to get a fast grp. But if its free and just a few gear changes away, it'll make dungeons a lot easier to do for ppl like myself who love to do the old school dungeons on their alts.
Finally i actually get into dah tanking! i just need some gear now... wait... how the HELL am i gonna get to that with this? ppl'll probly go completely crazy on the dungeons with any usefull loot... /facepalm...and !@#$ blizz forever if they make it cost hell much... that'll disable me to get my Mech Hog for EVEN longer... >.<
I agree with Enugma. Please, WoWhead, keep the talent calculator! Any up to date and easily accessible calculator out of game is, imo, slightly better any blizzard might implement in game. Why? Because, with an in game talent calculator I might go, "hmmm, yes, I want this talent, this talent, ooo, I wonder if I can this talent in this tree and another talent in a different tree? Ugh. These talents are nice, but the spec overall is terribad. I think I'll change it around by..." <suddenly zones out and accidently clicks on the "yes I want to make this spec permenant" button> "...CRAP! >:| "The respec cost for hunter pets is being removed? Wtf lol? it's only 10 silver for the first one, and the respec cost resets daily. And, you know, the average lvl 78-81 mob drops 5-40 silver. I'd be surprised if any hunter out there, now with the ability to have FIVE pets, end up paying more then 5 gold per day for their pet respecing...
I find it quite amusing how the "older" players are coming here to whine about the leveling becoming easier for others. Leveling was dreadful before, it never required any skill. At level 60 I still thought that I should go for weapons with the highest dps on my rogue, instead of one with high top-end damage. Leveling didn't teach me that, raiding did.I've said it before, and I'll say it again as it seems like a lot of people don't get it; a lot of people were about to give up on leveling back in the older days, because there weren't as many quests as there is now, and you needed a lot more exp to gain a single level. If you don't like how the leveling is improving, then simply don't level an alt and go have fun in your raid content or the battlegrounds. There's no need to make the game worse for everyone else just because you had a harder time.
