Soloing the last 5% of Ignis the Furnace Master on my DK while progressing through Ulduar. Someone had messed up Flame Jets repeatedly which caused the near-wipe. I only got hit twice by Ignis after the last healer was dead, and somehow managed to avoid every attack that came my way after that. The cheering on vent afterwards was epic.
It was when I was doing low lvl wsg on my feral druid protecting our flag carrier with a fellow rogue and feral cat that it happened... It was no surprise when an enemy rogue came and ambushed the fc, without wasting any time our rogue cheapshotted him. We couldn't have predicted that there was also a feral cat around that pounced our rogue as soon as he came out of stealth. But little did they know I was also there so I ravaged the feral cat to their surprise. It was pretty funny that we all came back to back within seconds but it wasn't hilarious till I too was cheapshotted the second I came out of prowl by a second enemy rogue who then was pounced by our other feral cat! It was epic xD
My favorite moment in wow is so hard to pick, because I've had so many over the years that were memorable. I guess I would say my favorite moment in wow for now was Killing H Nef. We spent a long time in my guild working on that fight and when we finally killed it we were all just so relieved and happy to see him dead.
Selecting a favorite memory is a tall order. I suppose I'd have to go with when I first achieved a max level character. I tend to level characters rather slowly as I get caught up in both enjoying the lore, enjoying a variety of characters, and generally getting awfully distracted. So my first max level was my Blood Elf Paladin hitting level 80, about a year ago now.
Back in BC, when we first started doing Kara. We were fighting the maiden, and our pally bubbled the tank :) Still laugh about it.
My favorite moment in WoW has to be the first time my friends and I discovered how to get to the IF airport, taking the long winding back path that you knew wasn't meant to be trend was just a grand old time. We even threw a guild party up there after figuring it out, and even took pictures at the very peak of the mountain. Now that you can fly past, a tiny part of the magic is gone, but that's still one of my favorite spots in Azeroth.
My favorite memory was when our guild first downed Ragnaros. It was such an epic raid to begin with, and that first Rag kill made it even more memorable since all of our hard work finally paid off.
One of my favorite memories in WoW was back in Vanilla when I was in the running to earn the PvP ranks. I never shot for anything too high, like Field Marshal or Grand Marshal, because I knew it simply wasn't possible with my play schedule. I was always very fond of the Commander title, however, and that was my main goal. For a couple of months I basically lived in Alterac Valley. When I wasn't in school or asleep, I was in the Battlegounds. It took quite a bit of time and energy, but I was determined. What was even worse was the fact that I did the entire grind while using dial-up, and the somewhat frequent disconnections from way too much going on at the bridge outside of the Dun Baldar were quite frustrating as well as discouraging.I'll never forget the week that I logged on right after weekly maintenance to find that I had achieved my biggest in-game goal at the time. I was a Commander! I immediately ran to the Champion's Hall and purchased my Black War Steed Bridle. Nothing will ever compare to that as long as I play this game. :)
My favorite memory from WoW has been working on the achievements. Loremaster has been the most time consuming one, but there is nothing more exciting then going around the world.
My favorite memory of WoW is the first time I completed the quest the resulted in Marshal Reginald Windsor's return to Stormwind. I had never seen this before I did it myself with two friends. In the days before WoW had in-game cinematics, this was a pretty epic event. At least it seemed such to me. The emotional confrontation with General Marcus Jonathan was the center of it, though the march through the streets of Stormwind that followed was very moving. The various guards that you passed commented on Windsor, expressing their sense of awe at being in the presence of such a hero. And it all proceeded at a very slow pace through the streets. I remember people, other players, joining the march along the way as well. All at walk speed. The culmination in the throne room was the supposed to be the real payoff, with Windsor's death and Bolvar's heroics, but the meeting on the bridge and the long march through the streets were the meat of the thing. I really loved that and I'm sad that it's no longer in the game for newer players to enjoy.
I have many moments, which I struggle to remember, as I have a very bad memory. My favourite moment has to be getting my Amani War Bear though, as I may have said before. It was something that made me so happy, and I was always proud to ride it.
My favorite moment in wow was creating a wedding for my GM and his gf . We had the awesome experience that a gamemaster answered my request of help and he made it a day of great memory to us all and the happy couple big thx for a awesome place for fun and friendship :))
