My favorite Wowhead moment occurs all the time. It's that moment when you find something strange, unique, or mysterious in the game and you HAVE to go "Wowhead it." Sometimes you get lucky and you're the first to comment on the item! It's like you've discovered America! (Eat your heart out, Columbus.) And other times you're not the first, which is also fine because you get to read up on all the funny, witty, or lore-related comments regarding your search. It's like an internet treasure hunt for your favorite video game!
Even though I've played WoW for nearly 5 years, having quite a bit of awesome memories. (Stepping into Karazhan for the first time, for example)My most favorite memory is still when I started playing WoW. I made a gnome mage as my first char (who is still my main, although no longer a gnome) and ended up simply killing stuff in Coldridge Valley, being amazed at how nice everything looked. (I used to casually play the singleplayer missions in Warcraft 3)Until a friend of mine (who also got me into trying out WoW) told me to follow him out of the starting area to the much bigger part of the zone. I was amazed by the fact that one single zone was huge. Then my friend showed me the way to Ironforge, and really had no words for how awesome it was when I entered that capital city. After looking around in Ironforge for a while, my friend continued to show me the Deeprun Tram to head towards Stormwind. Stormwind was quite cool aswell, but not as amazing as Ironforge. My friend then gave me a bit of gold to be able to buy a flight back to Ironforge, so I could see some of the scenery outside of Dun Morogh and the two capital cities. I still remember seeing a team of dwarven mountaineer npc's attacking a black dragon and seeing the Altar of Storms, wondering what it was for.
my favorite memory in wow would be finally killing ragnaros... after a few months of trying we finally got the right strat down and everyone finally listened to what they needed to do, The best part of it i was able to kill him with 2 of my best real life friends.
My favorite WoW moment was 4 years ago Wednesday - June 22nd, 2007. Some stupid noob asked me to help him with an elite dragon. After my badazz slayed the dragon he complimented my gear, which led to 9 hours of on-line chatting and one 6 hour phone call. This 'noob' is now my husband and we now have a beautiful 22 month old daughter. My 2nd WoW moment?...Any day I out DPS him in BoT or BWD and am looking forward to continuing these favorite moments through Firelands.
no doubt it was when i first realised i was addicted to wow.waking up and rushing to log in.coming home from work and again rushing to log in.i'm sure every wow player can say that there was a time when warcraft had totally enveloped and consumed their lives, in a good way :)it was a real taste of evolution from txt based MUDs ( multi user dungeons ) to actual graphical representationgoodbye to imagination, tomorrow's immersive gameplaying had arrived.i was in awe
My favorite moment was the clearing of Naxx, with my guild. After playing WoW for about three month, i made my own guild, without any idea of the work it would take, and the problems it could give. Well i started the guild as a leveling guild with my lvl 20 hunter. It was and is a pure danish guild, so recruiting wasnt easy. But the guild grow, and we became many. After a while i changed char, i started a priest. We needed healers... I leveled for a long time (i thought) and ran Kara two times with some other guild. Kinda boosting me. Then LK came and we leveled to 80. It took time and we got help from people i much better and older guilds. They joined us on alts, and started on Naxx with us. The first kill took like 3 weeks, with 2 raids a week. We ran the same crew (almost) every week, and after some time we got the hang of it, and started to move forward. It took us almost 6 month to clear the place, but when it happened, the yelling and clapping wouldnt end. It was/is the biggest achievement i ever did. Clearing our first raid, with lots of people, including myself, who havent raided before. The next raids, never came close to this one, and the killing of bosses were never the kick, that i had in Naxx. The first time is the GREATEST.
Raiding Naxx in Wrath. It was my first time raiding, and it really felt neat and new, especially as it was current content.
Killing Ragnaros for the first time in Vanilla. I even got my T2 legs.
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why? While doing the Karazhan keying quest chain we had to go out to Old Dalaran and beside that lake my husband got down on one knee and proposed to me in game. I still have screen shots of it. What makes it all the better is that we actually met playing the game. He from 2 states away. We were married last year.
My favorite moment in wow is reaching level 60!
My favorite memory would have to be the first time we downed Kael back in BC. On my server we were having a race to see who could down both kael and vashj before a guild (that well, caused a lot of drama and had a pretty bad rep) could down Fathom Lord. And whoever was the winning guild would get 2,000 gold. The night we downed Kael we were a few memebers short, so we actually ended up pugging the guy who was hosting the "contest" and on our 4th or 5th attempt we downed him, all of us were screaming into vent, cheering as loud as we could, and we walked away with our prize.
My favourite memory would have to be the first time I did a dungeon with my boyfriend- there was another guy in our group that was freaking out because his girlfriend was coming home and he wanted to get the dungeon finished before he had to log off. When I suggested he ask her to play with him he laughed and told me girls don't play WoW. He was a little suprised to say the least when he found out that not only was I female but I was also playing with my boyfriend!
My favorite Moment in WoW is when after months of endless leveling and seing the all the high level characters zooming past on their flying mounts while i was stuck at a leisurely pace on the ground, i had finally made it to 60 and took to the skies of the outland......"welcome to convenience" (which was The first thing my guildies said to me after i got flying)
