One of my fondest memories was definitely in vanilla, during the first Lunar Festival. I was in the same guild as my brother-in-law. I randomly came across him in Ironforge, and decided to use an Elune Stone on him, and he started dancing. It just cracked me up seeing a mage in full Netherwind dancing in a pillar of light. I still have the screenshot that I took of this awesome spectacle.
My Favorite moment was Back in Vanilla when I was in Alterac Valley for 14 hours and had to go to class, finished 6 hours of college and a 1 hour drive only to come back to the same AV. I loved the epic battles.
Just one? One? Hrm. I think downing Arthas for the first time before Cata hit. We'd been going in week after week, extending lockouts and just hoping that tonight would be the one. We get through phase 1 - no biggie, that was never a problem for us - we hit phase 2, and we made it through (which was always our issue - ground fug!), and then we start being 'scooped' up into the other world, dumped out. The raid leader is shouting out instructions about all the other dps targets, and then everything goes blank and we all die.. getting up from that, knowing he was going to die was simply awesome. Yes, I'm a wrath baby. I avoided computer games for years and finally got persuaded to try, and then managed to be in the team that downed the LK. Yay! Ok, close second - running through naxx with my cooking hat on wondering why my dps sucked! (so that was two! sowwy!) :)Happy birthday!
My favourite memory was entering Stormwind for the first time, the huge statues and hundreds of people dashing around the city made it seem unreal to me. Combined with the amazing music it made me realise I would be playing the game for a long time.

My most memorable moment in WoW is getting my realm first level 80 Draenei achievement in Icecrown. So many whispers from people in such a short time, it was incredible!
My favorite moment would be getting to 80 on my first character I had ever made. Felt great to finally get to the level cap, at the time anyway. Perhaps the second best greatest is getting the Ambassador title the old fashion way, without the tabards and tons of dungeons. I met quite a few ppl that I still talk to on WoW that way.
Definetly the fall ot The Lich King 10men :) Spent all the previus day long into wipe...and the next day we got it @ first temptative :) It was a real glorious day for me and for all my guild :D we finished ICC for the first time ^^
My favorite moment in wow was when my cousin had gift me my first account on world of warcraft, about 2 years ago (i was 12 years old).I had created my first character! a rogue, and i had leveled him in only one week and 5 days! (i remember perfectly this!).I have a good memories of my firsts istance whit my big brother.i know that i cannot win this contest because i'm italian and my english isn't good, but i'm happy because i had express my happiest moment in wow. Thanks a lot Wowhead!
My favorite memory is probably one of my first WoW memories. I had only been playing a few weeks on an undead warlock. (This was about four years ago and I was leveling slowly towards twenty) I didn't have a soul bag yet and after learning about them, searched the Auction House. There were none. I found that tailors made them so I asked in Trade Chat for someone to make me a soul pouch. I found a kind soul (no pun intended, they did not go in my pouch) who, after finding out that I'd only been playing afew weeks and had no friends on this server, got the mats off the Auction House, made me the bag and gave me the pouch, the remaining mats and 30 gold to help me. I wish I had remembered their name. I was shocked and so, so thankful. Now, when I start to get depressed about people stealing items, being stupid in Trade, randomly pulling mobs and leaving a heroic group to wipe . . . . I remember that kind person who took 10 minutes to help a random newbie and gave me faith that there are still kind people in this game.
My fave moment in wow, would be the day that 4 of my IRL freinds, had collected enough gold for me to get an epic mount in the vanilla days.
My favorite memory is dropping Malygos for the first time. We were a very small guild and everyone was there plus a couple of mates from a friendly guild.I think we celebrated for 3 days.
My favorite memory of WoW was way back in vanilla. At that time, I was a crazy pvp addict. At the low level of 35 or so, I earned my Sergeant title on my druid. I was so excited! I told everyone I knew, even my parents! (when they still played WoW). I was hoping to earn all the titles, but of course, BC came too soon, and I never achieved my goal. To this day, I can show everyone my shiny feat of strength to show I got my title the hard way, not through some rated BGs. It's also funny to show people how much of a pvper I was. Now, I can't stand pvp! Funny how things change.
my favorite moment on WOW was reaching level 64 and being able to fly. Now when I create a new toon my first goal is to reach flying! WOOT! I am new to WOW but love this game.
My favorite memory of playing wow was back in 2008. I was unemployed and looking for something to do when I wasn't looking for jobs. I found the trial membership ad on a wesite and decided to try it out. I instantly fell in love with the game. I must of played the trial 1-20 levels at least 10 times and became so good I could get to level 20 in a couple hours, until I saved enough money to buy the actual game. I made my character a NE hunter and I could actually whisper and trade with people I was in such awe when I reached 21 that I hit level 30 the next day lol. Since then my NE hunter has become and undead horde and is level 85 in max pvp gear. I also have my main 85 orc DK. But I still remember and have the awe and inspiration that I had when I first started playing on those trials. THANK YOU BLIZZARD FOR PUTTING UP THAT BANNER! It gave my imagination the reboot it needed. Great game keep it up!
