I like Pilgrim's Bounty, nothings better than shooting a rogue to transform them into a turkey! LOVE IT!
My favorite one is Midsummer. I like fire and when everything's burning - that's good :)
Brewfest! You gotta love the party vibe and best of all there is ram racing.
Winter's Veil. It is my first WoW memory and makes me nostalgia, hardcore-like.
Brew fest completely. One for the beer and all the drinking and two the music. I usually play wow with the music on low but during this time, music gets turned up. You can't help but love it!
I like the midsummer festivalIts when i started to play wow and its always a time of the year thats fun cuz who doesnt like throwing fire at people?
Winter Veil is my favorite World of Warcraft holiday for sure :) I enjoy that time of year IRL the most as well and all decorations and events are just awesome!
My fav holiday has always been and will always be Halloween, or Hallows End. i recently started playing and worked pretty hard to get high enough lvl in order to do the Hallows End events, quests to get the achievments and rewards. I love the Headless Horseman theme, really gives a Halloween feel to the game. Plus all the pumpkins everywhere was just fantastic to see.
The Love is in the Air World event is my favorite holiday because it carries the most sentimental value to me. I meant my now fiancé through WoW and have been together for a few years. She loved this event as well since Valentine's Day is her favorite holiday and we would always do all the quests and achievements together. Last year while she was at work, I took her character into AQ40 was able to get her the Robes of the Guardian Saint which she wanted. Dress in that, I logged her out in Nagrand. Just before she got home, I gathered the whole guild where I logged her out at and waited. The moment she logged in, she found herself surrounded by the entire guild and with me in front of her kneeling next to a Romantic Picnic Basket. When she turned to ask what was going on, she found me (IRL) kneeling with a ring in hand. She could hardly contain her tears as I proposed to her with the whole guild listening via ventrilo. She said yes ^^ Our wedding is on Feb 18th of next year, during Love is in the Air event. The guild is also planning to throw a wedding in game during the event as well, right in Nagrand ^^.
Brewfest, it was the first event I saw and I just love killing the boss and getting drunk =D
I can't choose just one event; I like them all, but my favourites so far are Hallow's End of course, Brewfest, Noblegarden, Love is in the Air and Winter Veil.Hallow's End, because I love Halloween, I love the costumes and the masks, and I like the daily quests, especially the "Let the Fires Come!" one. But the best thing about Hallow's End is Headless Horseman; I love the NPC, I've read his story, I think he's amazing =)Brewfest, because it's just so much fun! I like the daily quests of Brewfest as well, and Dun Morogh (yes, I'm Alliance) is just the perfect place to celebrate Brewfest. Also I have to mention the awesome music at the Brewfest spot in Dun Morogh; it always cheers me up when I hear it.Noblegarden, because I love spring, and I think easter is such a cute time of the year. The hunt for the easter eggs is awesome, I love it. Also the bunny costume <3 Noblegarden is just so beautiful!Love is in the Air, because it's so cute, hearts and roses and romantic picnics. N'awww. The Crown Chemical Co. trio is great as well, I love the fight. It's simple but it's fun.Winter Veil, because... Christmas. Who doesn't like Christmas? The quest for saving Metzen is fun, and I love flying around on a reindeer. <3 The feeling of Christmas coming is the most important thing that makes Winter Veil so enjoyable (the event itself could be updated a little tbh), the holiday spirit, the excitement in the air. It's awesome, I love it. Nuff said. Also I have to give credit for Midsummer Fire Festival, for I am from Finland and Fire Festival is a traditional Finnish event and we celebrate it every year by lighting up a bonfire. I also met my best friend on WoW during Fire Festival.Personally I love all the events but these are my favourites. Thank you.
I think I'd have to go with Children's Week... not because I like kids, but because it appeals to my inner !@#$%^bag in a way no other holiday can. Winter Veil might be nice, but boo at the spirit of sharing! Children's Week teaches you the value of being self centered and horrible; eating delicious cakes, doughnuts and icecream in front of a hungry orphan and rewarding you for not bothering to ask them if they want any.Love is in the air? Pfhooie! Who needs love when you can be rewarded for hearthing away from your orphan, leaving them to fend for themselves? Children's Week is truly educational for these orphans, as it also teaches them the value of crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you and hearing the lamentations of their women (or men, battlegrounds are equal opportunity, you know)! Best. Holiday. Ever.Viva la Children's Week!
