My favorite holiday is Children's week because it is really heartwarming to help the orphans and get a cool pet after it is all done.
Let me think about such a crazy thing.... Favorite Holiday?Well the things I like most about holidays is the events, maybe a unique mount?, or a unique pet!.... OR MAYBE BOTH D:!But to be honest, Love is in the Air must be my favorite because it has all these things, and more...Mount? Only one of the best holiday mounts ever... pink rocket is super cool, but lets face it the best part of the mount is NOT HALF THE POPULATION HAS IT! Not like that headless horseman mount, geez. For the lucky people, you feel great cause you got it, for the unlucky people... you don 't have to feel so bad that you didn't because heck, most of your guild didn't either. Its okay.Pet? Sure thing, a nice little flying goblin, so cute! (Or maybe its just us goblin players that go awww), also a Toxic Wasteling... cute too :) Achievements? Only 160 points worth, and a very nice roleplaying title... Okay maybe not but still a title none the less.Gear?... Sure this isn't a holiday with a free piece of epic gear to get, but for all our Cloth players... Someone better be using the Vile Fumigator's Mask when 4.3 comes out to deck out their gear. HahahOh and the Romantic Picnic basket is pretty cool too.. its like a free WoW TCG Loot Card :)
I like Hallow's End. You get a shot at an awesome mount which RNG has been bad for me this year. Love the helm, but sad it's only for plate. I just wish they brought back that axe that made you rock out :(
My favorite holiday is absolutely Brewfest, by no doubt! It starts around the time of my birthday, and birthday is a day of celebration, with beer ofcourse! And I can also do that on World of Warcraft during Brewfest! I love it!Also for a 17 years old guy, I love to drink, being drunk and #$%^ like that. You know what I mean. But anyways, what guy doesn't like to be maybe a little bit drunk? This is by far the most awesome holiday in my opinion! Let's celebrate the week of the beer! Raise your hands with some beer!
My favourite holiday would have to be this one! Hallow's End! I love the spookiness, the story, and all the fun things you can do in the holiday.
My favorite is winter veil, christmas WoW event because it's make me nostalgic and remember the good old time when i was little .. all family reassembled :) some are gone , some are still alive now :'(
Mine would simply have to be Feast of Winter Veil the entrance of "Santa" aka "Greatfather Winter" coming to Ironforge just fills me with excitement also, gnomes everywhere from the help of the wonderfulWinter Wondervolt machine! Additionally the hardly packed snowballs just to OP and a hell of a load of fun xD. Finally the presents! Thats what everyone wants, free gifts! ^^ :D
Still waiting for that Headless Horsemen's mount...It's been two years now..
My personal favorite World of Warcraft holiday is Brewfest, my reasons are the following:1. Its during the time of my birthday :D2. Dwarves!3. Beer!4. All my favorite races are included in it :D Dwarves, Pandaren ect.5. Did I mention Dwarves? :D6. The "Brewmaster" title goes great with my current mains name.7. When I make a Pandaren Monk, they will most likely be the tank spec, Brewmaster, so having the title will make it that much better :DThose are some of the reasons why I love Brewfest so much that I call it my favorite holiday :D Bottoms up!
Winter Veil has always stuck with me as the best holiday. Probably beacause it was the first holiday when i joined the game, but going around and actually witnessing the game changing to celebrate the holiday, along with the wonder in the NPCs and presents under the tree in Ironforge really seemed fitting to me.Also, the fact that you have the "great-father" there and the elves talking about needing your help to keep Winter Veil going, and the snowball fights, made for the best first event to witness for the game. This also has been the only event I've tried to get on for every year since, even keeping a few presents under wraps for later just to experience later in the year. Getting my first snowball and then tossing it at somebody made it the best back that first time.
I would have to say that my favorite holiday is Hallow's End because the events seem the most unique and it provides some of the most interesting items in my opinion. I have wanted the Headless Horseman's mount ever since I first saw it. Last year was the first time I got to try for it and even though I did the dungeon run every day I still didn't get it (while a friend of mine got at least three). So far I haven't gotten it this year either but there are still a couple days left.
I know we're supposed to choose just one Holiday but just like in real life it's a toss up between the Feast of Winter's Veil (Xmas!) and Pilgrim's Bounty (Thanksgiving!) for me.I absolutely love the tree in Orgrimmar. I love getting to open up presents under the tree. I love the garland, bells, and lights draped over every building. I love kissing NPCs under the mistletoe in order to get some Fresh Holly to ride around on a reindeer or Handful of Snowflakes to make it snow.Speaking of snow, who doesn't love snowballs? They are a cherished item year round but become even more prevalent during Winter Veil. They are fun to throw around and they also transform us into cute snowmen with the Winter Veil Disguise Kit! Can't forget about the "special" Hardpacked Snowballs in Alterac Valley that spawn during this event. They have a knockback and dismounting effect that let's you show the opposing faction how much they mean to you during this joyous holiday! Now, I LOVE cooking and collecting recipes in WoW. So of course another reason for loving this holiday is all the great food and drinks available! Some Hot Apple Cider to wash down the Gingerbread Cookies and then some Eggnog for the after party! Wooo! Now for Pilgrim's Bounty. I love the aesthetics of giant tables loaded with tons of food! You get the feeling of a giant feast going on outside the cities and it's great. Nothing like sitting down at the tables and starting a food fight for an achievement! I also love all of the new recipes available like Pumpkin Pie and Candied Sweet Potato. Gathering around to cook all of these foods with a bunch of other fellow cooks celebrating the bounty given to our faction while everyone else feeds at the giant tables around us is a great look and feeling! We can't forget about the turkeys either! Achievements like The Turkinator which is a fun little minigame trying to keep a buff up while hunting wild turkeys (which *poof* into "cooked" turkeys when you hit them, lol) and Turkey Lurkey which lets you hunt around for sneaky Rogues and turn them into turkeys! Of course, you can cook a Turkey and also obtain your very own turkey pet, a very Plump Turkey!I simply love these 2 holidays, and while I'm sure I could get in depth about why I love Hallow's End as well, these 2 holidays take the cake (and the turkey)!
