My favorite holiday is Winterveil,it reminds me so much of Christmas (which is also my birthday),the hard time falling asleep on christmas eve and finally falling asleep around 3 in the morning and then waking up at 6 or 7 am full of anticipation-wondering what was in all the presents. of course, couldn't do anything until my parents woke up (usually around 8 or 9 o'clock), which just made the anticapation all the worse. During Winterveil, it is almost the same thing-all the presents under the tree, wondering what is in them, doing all the different quests,it just brings back so many awesome childhood memories. It is so much fun doing the quests for Winterveil, to bad there isn't a quest to go around caroling the horde bosses-that would be really fun,but all-in-all,I think Blizz has done a good job of recreating Christmas (in my opinion) with the Winterveil holiday. So, Happy Holidays to where ever you might be--open up all the presents that you find-sometime you'll get something special and to all a good night!

Hallow's End without a doubt now. We get to stinkbomb the enemy capitol...whats not to love?
My favorite WoW Holiday is probably the Midsummer's Fire Festival. I really enjoy the lore in it, and it was the first holiday to introduce "travel the world and harass the other faction / honor your faction" quests which always give some great scenery and a nice amount of cash.I also have fond memories of it because of the incarnation of the holiday where they introduced the Fire Festival set. Being on fire in 4 different gear slots was just so cool to have at that time. I've since made a vanity costume that uses that outfit as a base (though a better fire crown.)The toys and minipets gained from the events and Ahune every year are nice and varied, and give a real feel to the spirit of summer.Oh! That! The Spirit of Summer pet. That was amazing. Can't wait to use that as a "Wowkemon" in the Mists of Pandaria expansion! The title, unlike the other holiday titles, was varied between Horde and Alliance (Flame Keeper and Flame Warden) which is unique, like the Children's Week titles (Matron and Patron) and fits really well with my Flame Suit. I'm a huge vanity person, so I'm really excited for 4.3 to use my Fire Festival outfit 24/7.The elemental impersonating Ragnaros in festivals past was one of the hardest times I've laughed in WoW.Lastly... torch juggling. I got my Violet Proto Drake the very earliest possible, but I still do Torch Juggling whenever I get the opportunity every year. I find it very soothing and fun.Close contenders for holidays were Brewfest, with all the toys and the Eyesight enhancing goggles, not to mention the only-Kodo-available-to-Alliance mount and all the beer. And Winter's Veil, the lore behind it is grand and fun, really fits well in the Warcraft Universe. The lore introduced for the event in WotLK added to the feel of it even more, as I'm a subscriber to the Hodir == Greatfather Winter theory. Here's to more holidays in the future! Blizz does an amazing and top notch job with these, and Mists of Pandaria promises to offer exciting changes!
My Favorite is Winter Veil. It always cheers me up, its not repetitive like most the other holidays. As well as who can resist the urge to send gifts to friends followed by a snowball to the face ? XD
my best event is midsummer because i love playing with fire everyone see fire not only destroy something.Ragnaros , Deathwing or other villains cannot stop us and. Midsummer daily quests verry funny but sometimes players gonna be angry because cant catch and throw that torch again and again :D i know thats annoying but my best event is Midsummer fire festival. (and i bet i'm best torch juggler in europe xD )
My favourite would be Hallow's End. Before I start my story, I want to tell you that I was always fascinated by the real-life holiday of Halloween, but we do not celebrate it in my country. I always wanted to go trick-or-treating or just pull some scary pranks on others. :) So because I always missed out on Halloween, it’s a no-brainer that Hallow’s End holds a special place in my heart. When WoW came out, I couldn't afford to play on authentic Blizzard servers, but I was invited to play on my friend's private servers. I instantly took a liking to the game. I wanted to play as an Undead as they were my favourite race in Warcraft III, but my friend advised me to play Tauren instead, so he can help me level. Since it was my first time, it was all the same to me. The music and the scenario captivated me, but unfortunatley as it was a private server, it had a lot of bugs, and it limited my gameplay experience. Later that year, I bought a magazine which had a two-weeks free trial of World of Warcraft, so I waited until the autumn break to play with it, so I’ll have enough time to play. When I installed it and logged in with my account, I finally had freedom to choose whichever race I wanted, so I picked and Undead, namely a warlock. I entered the world, and I realised that it was Hallow’s End. You can imagine Deathknell, Brill or Undercity with all the pumkins and the other decorations, it was amazing. And for the first time since I played WoW (including Private servers), there were lots of other players running around questing, which made it even better. You see, there were so few people on the private server, I rarely met anyone else. Playing as an Undead during Hallow’s End was such a special experience, that when the trial expired, I was bitter going back to my friend’s server. Then one time, it was enough. I didn’t want to run around in a bug-filled empty world, I got tired of waiting for the server to be back online because it was shut off by a bugged chest. I saved up enough money so that I could buy the game, registered again and because my trial character was deleted, I made an identical one and started my adventure in Azeroth which still goes on today. Every year, I wait for Hallow’s End to start, so that I can take part in the festivities. What I don’t like that I always struggle getting the Sinister Squashling, one of the best vanity pets in-game, but even so, this holiday holds dear memories to me. The feeling you get when you finally save a village from the Headless Horseman, when you take him down in Scarlet Monastery, or when you open a handful of treats eager to find out what I will find in it is really unique. Add to this, that even though only virtually, I can finally take part in Halloween. :) Hallow’s End always brings back the feeling of when I was still new to the game and I was trying to figure out how to play. This is the story of why my favourite event is Hallow’s End.I hope when you read this, you could recall the memories your first time playing, enjoying the nostalgia. :)
Brewfest. The music is just wonderful to listen to, and the atmosphere at the festival is great. And it's not just that, but the little jokes and funny things you can get that make it fun to walk there, with a pink elephant here and a Wolpertinger there, and a Gnome standing on a crate hitting on everyone. And of course the challenge of transporting as much barrels as you can, hoping you won't get stuck behind a fruit bucket or pass it the wrong way, slowing down and losing the possibility to beat your high-score.Beating the Dark Iron with your mugs to protect your beer is one of the best parts, not only because you get completely smashed with an excuse, but also because you get to earn another beer after you beat them!Brewfest is just the best holiday on WoW, and I look forward to it each and every year!
I just love Children's week. The questline and the filling of helping childs is so cool!
My favourite has to be noblegarden by far. The fact that everybody runs around as a little bunny is so cute!
Brewfest! Because whats better than getting drunk and doing stupid things?Cool mounts and fun dailies
Childrens weekIts so cute to have them following you around, although the battleground achivs can be a pain.
I'd have to go with Pilgrim's Bounty. Say what you will, but powerleveling Cooking on any lowbie character from 1 to ~350ish in less than an hour is no laughing matter. Thanksgiving also happens to my favorite real-life holiday.I might as well jump on the Brewfest bandwagon too. Seeing as I've pretty much vowed to never get drunk IRL, it's the closest thing I'll ever get to vitrually simulating a hangover.Yea that's right, I DON'T want to drink. DEAL WITH IT. B)
My favorite holiday is Winter Veil, because I've always loved the feeling of Christmas.
Hallows End is by far the best holiday! Us Australians dont have trick or treats so my Haloween party always happens online. The Horsemens laugh is completly unique and makes my son laugh in turn like him. Plus, who doesnt like throwing pumpkins on peoples heads?
