If I were to pick one zone it would have Alterac Valley, simply because it is my favorite battleground of all time. It may have lost some of its glory, due to recent changes, but it is still my favorite zone. I used to love the huge struggles between the two factions, with battles which seemed to last forever.

I really appreciate the paths between peeks and mountain ranges of Deadwind Pass. I also like it's very nature of "transition area" between different regions. And I think Karazhan is epic. I would like to see this zone more populated and useful!
Zangarmarch is mine, there is no other zone that even remotely comes near to the look of the mushrooms towering above you - the first time I entered the zone I was awe struck by it. I loved it so much that I didnt leave for a few days and managed to get exalted with Sporeggar in one day lol.
Storm Peaks for sure. The music, the awesome titan lore, the massive mountains, frost giants, blowing up mammoths, and TLPD flying about, also home to one of the best raids ever! I remember when I got my computer and was able to bring the graphics settings above low, I went straight to Ulduar and was completely amazed, I thought it looked good even in low settings, and now it just looking AMAZING! Storm Peaks! :D
My favorite zone has always been Dustwallow Marsh. When I first started playing World of Warcraft, I always wanted to do the 25 man Onxyia's LAir. It took me a long time to be able to run that raid, but in the end it was worht it.Dustwallow Marsh has a great feel to it and the transitions between the areas within the zone are really well put together. Between the whelps in the Wyrmbog, The ogres of Stonemaul, or the Grimtotem Taurens in the Quagmire (giggity). This Zone has so much to offer a character as they are leveling.
mine has to be mulgore (specially the old version of Red Cloud Mesa) because of the peace sense it always put on me, and the fact that it reminds me of my first days of playing, lots of years ago :)
My favorite zone since Wrath was always Grizzly Hills. The music there is great, the scenery is gorgeous, and after a few levels in the Tundra and Dragonblight I am ready for some greenery. The quest chains there are interesting without being too long and convoluted, but the biggest reason it is my favorite is that I spent a good deal of time leveling there with a good friend that I miss very much. It holds a very sentimental appeal and even if snazzy new zones like Hyjal and Uldum may tempt me at times to replace it as my favorite, Grizzly Hills has a very special place in my heart, and I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.
Winterspring without a Doubt(Pre-Shattering)Snow covered land.Populated by the Furbolgs, Tigers, Bears, Chrimera, Undead, Moonkins and Elite Frost Giants never mind the scary Elite Demons at the bottom. And the only Zone you could terrain jump and go visit the Dancing Troll villageParty at the Dancing Troll Village!/dance/dance/dance
Zangamarsh i like the way the stuff their looks all peaceful like lol
I like Howling Fjord because it was the first taste of Northrend I had as a Horde character.
I'd have to say my favorite zone is actually an instance, I love Gnomeregan. The music, the layout, The feel of the place, all wrapped up into one gnomish package.
I'd have to say Zangarmarsh is my favorite zone. It just had that sci-fi fantasy I love so much. Plus the atmosphere was kind of serene to me. That's definitely one zone that I look forward to questing through.
I really like the new Vash'jir zone. The artwork was well done, the water effect is fairly realistic, and the nature of swimming requires players to (finally) make 3D thinking a part of their overall survival. I hope new areas in the future will take this into account, possibly with aerial combat.
Well...i loved the old STV " Stranglethorn Vale "Cant forget old times, when general was full with messages regarding pages, you know what i mean :p It was priceless ^^
