Good. I hope it stays that way.
Blizz: Here's some burrowed power.Player: I'd rather have it as class power but ok I'll take it.Prof. Oak: Now it's not the time to use that.
If I can use it in Warsong Gulch, why can't I use it in a duel in front of Orgrimmar? Please explain.
I like this change, makes sense If you are in another dimenssion apply the physics laws of that dimenssion so for me it's a good lore-like change, time will say if it's a good gameplay decision too.
Probably preemptive limitations to possible Tom foolery some individuals may be planning .
this is dumb
Just disable it for all content when the expansion is over with some makeshift explanation like the last expansions (Artifact weapon, Corruptions) but why would you disable it right now for content that isn't even relevant for max level characters outside of TW? And please don't argue with lore reasons because it already creates continuity problems with pvp arenas. Its just one of the many cases where things are for no reason over complicated and actually hurting the way a player experiences a certain game. On top of that, the trend of making specific items/abilities only usable in a certain portion of the content becomes quite tiresome. I could get why certain usables are not able in instanced content (dungeons/raids/BGs) but now splitting also endgame abilities and pre-endgame abilities on a per content basis really sucks.
Who is making these terrible design choices?
Idk why but I hope this isn't for some RP/Lore reasons. I've always said that there comes a time where RP/Lore should not transcend gameplay but, thats not been Blizzard's priority(or they've really just been inconsistent with it) for quite a bit of the stuff they are doing in SL so w.e I guess.
Dude... You're in another REALM. Not Island, Not continent, Not City... REALMWhy would this make any sense to be able to use outside 9.x ?
K.I.S.S ... lost @ Blizzard
Blizzard, what the actual ^&*!.For every one step forward you guys make, you take two steps backwards.I've been trying to stay positive, but this has to be one of the dumbest decisions I've seen when it comes to covenants. Now if we want to run old content, unless we overlevel it to the point where it's not really a problem, we need to grind a system that's entirely unrelated to anything current (Essences). Why not just disable the Heart of Azeroth like you nuked our Artifacts at the end of Legion and make covenant abilities usable anywhere? It's not even the stupid and lazy attempt to extract more playtime from your playerbase that I'm pissed about, it's the &*!@ing *inconsistency*I'm *this* !@#$ing close to refunding, and I've been trying my hardest to give you guys the benefit of the doubt, because I thought that you guys had pulled your collective heads out of your asses for this one.Come on, guys.
I think Andy Larkin is giving the devs suggestions and they take it for granted, honestly.I remember that Ion said in an interview(I think it was with Preach, I don't remember exactly) that you will be able to use your convenant abilities in every piece of content. This doesn't make sense at all, what about WPvP outside Shadowlands? What about the fact that some classes feel incomplete, like Paladins that request some mobility for some time. Some paladins might take the furry ability so they can have more mobility. Do you want to use that mobility while doing old content for transmog, mounts, etc? You think you want but you don't, just walk...
I seriously hope this is the string that will be applied when the expansion goes away, as losing entire systems simply because you left the new content is super awkward and feels bad.
This makes no sense and should be reverted.
making the game less fun to better communicate how restricted you aregood job blizz keep at it
So, now remove this &*!@ty target cap system in legacy content TOO
Now we have borrowed power that is so borrowed it actually doesn't work if you move too far from where you borrowed it.Also, so much for subclass identity 🤣🤣🤣🤣
RIP Orgrimar/Stormwind duelers.
