Warlock or warlock-esque characters. I love dark magic, what can I say?
I typically prefer to play a magic-based class. I usually spec into long range damage-dealing spells, with healing as a secondary focus. Spells that slow down or snare are a big focus of my preference. With Amalur, however, I think I'm going to go Magic-based but use Faeblades.
I almost always play the warrior type in RPGs. I can't wait to experiment with cross classing in KoA:TR!
In online RPGs I tend to play as a caster but in large single player games i lean towards the more stealthy lock picking and pickpocketing class.
I usually play any sort of melee dps, sword and shield all the way.Rare occasions do I actually play a range class.

I usually have two choices, if in an MMORPG I choose the supporter/healer class, the one that boosts up the team and keeps it alive. Otherwise I love the ranger type, with some sneaking flavor on top.Lifelover
In WoW I stuck mainly to melee classes, rogue from Vanilla through LK, then prot paladin from Ulduar to BWD, DPS DK from BWD to Firelands then Tank/DPS DK from FL to current. Played everything but lock and druid to 85, and could never get past flying around in circles in troll flight form on my druid to want to continue further. In ToR, I play a commando healer, mainly to try out the dynamics of the ammo system, which is horribly underdeveloped, Im working on a Sith Assassin which is really fun, and a Jedi Sentinel.
I usually play a non-caster type, hate the cast timers! Warriors are my thing!
I typically play a heavy armour wearing warrior type class. Recently I've tried to broaden my horizons though with some magic using characters in various games.
Normally in RPG's I play a warrior type guy. Heavy Armor, Sword, Shield, that sort of stuff. If they have a paladin like option then I'll go with that (I like the whole idea of a holy warrior type, and my main is a paladin in WoW) I have had the itching to start playing a Wizard sort of character in an RPG though...
I love to play archers; the range from monsters lets me have a better view of the environment (non turn-based combat environments, anyway...)
Caster :) In pretty much every RPG I've played since my mother first purchased me Final Fantasy 1 instead of the game I asked for (Battletoads). My team of Black Mages sounded cool at the time...
Started out playing range, then tried melee (which is fun!) and I tank when I need to and I mostly heal. LOL. I guess I do it all! ^_~
Healer, I`m a nurse (male nurse lol)
