Mine probably has to be when I was "dragged" back to WoW by some old friends late in BC. I started with a brand new account, and they both started new level 1 toons to party with me. I didn't have much to do then other than game and work, so I soon out leveled them and joined them at 70 in Kara.
Not long after WoW came out, I was leveling a Night Elf Warrior. Back then, I was an explorer junkie and new to the MMO genre. I went everywhere that I could. While running around Teldrassil, I came across The Oracle Glade. I headed East and came across a river, and so I decided to follow the river. Long story short, I ended up falling out of the tree and landed about halfway down. Of course I died. While I had died a couple of times before, and was familiar with the idea that I had to go back and get to my body, I wasn't entirely sure how I was to do that. So I ended up walking off of the edge again, but this time, fell all the way down to the water below.Still in explore mode, I decided to see what was under the water! This is how I found out that ghosts can die from Fatigue. I also learned that I had some pretty cool friends, because after that, I was at a loss for how to get my body back. I also learned how to Spirit Res! :D

My Favourite memory Was back in BC, when achievements came into play, a month or so before Wrath launched, and attempting a ''For The Alliance!" raid on Thunderbluff, with 3 and a bit raids, ... 120+ people, had no idea what we were walking into, sure, no real horde resistance, but, Tanks getting 2 shot? yeh, wasn't very fun, but it was my favourite memory, where that many people from the one server came together, to try to achieve something, you don't see stuff like that anymore, Realm community is dead...
My favorite moment in WoW was when I met one of my soon to be great in-game friends in Stratholme, right after hitting 60, and he recruited me to join his fledgling guild at the time making it sound like the best place in the game. It was.
My absolute favorite memory would have to be when my best friend and I joined, and rolled a night elf druid, and a night elf priest. We were complete newbs. On a certain ledge of Teldrassil, there was a branch. On that branch there was an elite. We had no idea what an elite even was, so we went at it. My friend quickly got slaughtered, as I jumped down to "escape." Falling down, I hit a ledge which would be impossible to land on again and died. I walked back and prayed I would hit the accept button as I fell past my corpse. Down I went, and I obviously failed. I was stuck at the bottom walking around the island, clueless as to what I would do. I later discovered on a web site that I could make a ticket if I were to get stuck.Honestly, my favorite memories of this game are my newb days. The game was fresh, I didn't know what to expect. It was all about uncovering unknown places, and not knowing what I could and couldn't accomplish.
About 3 Weeks after Ulduar came out, my guild was at XT, and hadn’t downed it yet (This was 25 man). So, we pulled the boss as usual, shouting everything going on, etc etc.All of a sudden, our tank Hydrate says in vent “Hey guys, put hots on me I’m hearing some crashing noises coming from somewhere in my house. So about 20 seconds later he comes back to his computer and says in vent “I’m back. Sorry someone was trying to break into my house.”After hearing this we’re all screaming at him “Call the Cops! Are you okay? What’s going on?”In response, he says “Oh don’t worry I have it under control. I my revolver aimed at him. I can still tank.”And we ended up downing XT, while our tank was being robbed.Best. Moment. Ever.
My favorite moment is becoming a Loremaster, again (even though I didn't have to in order to keep the title). I was one before Cata came out and the moment 4.0 came out I immediately began questing the new zones to see all the new quests. Quests are absolutely my favorite part of the game.
My most memorable moment on WOW had to have been defeating the Lich King and having my pic taken with him at his Throne,,,,awesome! KINGSLAYER BABY!
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why?My favorit memory would have to be finally downing The Curator in Kara. I chose to play a warrior becuase I wanted to weild a sheild, and tanking came with that choice. Kara was by far the best and first raid I had the honor to do. Once The Curator was finally defeated, I was hooked on Tanking and love to raid ever since and because of that , This is my Favorite Memory from WoW.
My favorite memory of WoW was actually when I first started playing. It was back way when Burning Crusade was released. I remember specifically creating a human warrior, walking into this area with huge statues and wondering where the bloody heck I was. Suddenly this music started up and it blew me away. I really loved it. That music of course being the Stormwind theme. I still play to this day and every single time I jump into Stormwind I get that nostalgic feeling.
My favorite memory of World of Warcraft was earning the achievement What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been. While not terribly difficult, It was a fun thing to work towards. It got me involved in a lot of the different parts of the game and gave me something to work towards almost every month. The final reward of the 310% flying mount was great and then getting the best flying skill when Cataclysm for free was an added plus!
