my favorite memory from World of Warcraft would be when i finally reached lvl 60 then the burning crusade expansion came out i was excited to reach lvl 70 and explore the next areas and dungeons/raids, and the fun just seems to continue as we get further and i love that.
my favorite moment in world of warcraft, to the best of my memory is when we were doing 10 man al'akir and we were on the last phase. I was the second to last person to die, a prot paladin, and the last one alive was our guild leader, a ret paladin. Al'akir was down to less than 1%, if not 100k and the ret pally manage to pull of a crit with the hammer of wrath to finally finish al'akir off before falling to his death, getting the guild the achivement and everyone who participated really excited.I look forward to the new raid in addition to the blacksmithing and engineering plans, yay epic gun, in 4.2 and get to do it with my guild.
It has to be my first raid, my first Karazhan. Oh, it wasn't a endgame challenge at he time, but I was 60-ish, had leveled pretty much all alone. A few lvl 80 guildies I didn't know well took me for a journey in their favorite raid.I've been so amazed I can't really describe. We had a lot of fun, I discovered on that same late night raiding, vent chatting, my awesome guildies, purple loot, and especially a fabulous raid, so beautiful and fun. Actually, I think I discovered WoW.Took me a long time to find sleep after deconnecting, and I still keep in my bank the Big Bad Wolf's Head as a souvenir.
Happy Anniversary WoWHead! My favorite memory of WoW was completing the Karazhan raid for the first time with my friends back in Burning Crusade. It was a great memory because WoW was my first MMO and getting together within a game and completing such a challenging obstacle with my friends and all the work we put into the accomplishment was a really great feeling. I can still remember the joyous screams on Ventrilo. It was amazing. Of course we have done many other raids over several expansions, but nothing beats the first time.
My favorite memory will have to be when on the first day i got my hunter to 60 my guild let me join them in a drunk-n-raid night. Not only was it a blast to with friends and be drunk, but i was in for my first time, seeing all theses unique styles of boss and be ever so jittery tryin to get the mount (didnt drop but oh well :P), was much fun. got me more into the actual game and got me into raiding. was a fun night :3!
My favorite memory of WoW is from when I had just began to play Warcraft. Started myself out as a Night Elf Warrior, not a clue what i was to do. Didn't know about the map so had a heck of a time trying to do my quests. Some how, I managed to leave the starting area where I was promptly owned by a Strigid Owl. I was thinking, its just an owl, how hard can it be? After being clawed to death, I spent some time working back to where I died. I made to extract my revenge on this vicious beast, over and over and over. Eventually I had to retreat back to the tree I first saw in starting. (and the conga line consisting of 1 naked male night elf and a number of female ones following, Still don't know what that was about O.O) Every time I pass nearby now, I make sure to take out some vengeance on these beasts it the most cruel and viscous manner.Besides being my favorite memory, this always reminds to be understanding of new players because I once was a beginner as well.
Might be a silly memory, but my favorite memory among many that have been made in this game has to be the day I bought and installed WoW. I really had no clue what it was other than seeing something on X-Play about how to get to the IF airfield since it was off limits really until just recently. I had just had surgery a few weeks before and an blood clot in my lung a couple weeks after that so I was out of work for abit and needed something to occupy my time.Loading the game and watching the opening cinematic took my breath away. This was the first PC game I ever really played. When I got the the character selection screen I faced so many chocies(to me at least). Made a night elf druid since I thought being able to shape shift sounded cool. Five years later and I am still playing that druid, although she is not getting as much love right now as some of my other characters. At this point I think I have tried all the classes in the game at least once, have quested, dungeoned, raided, join and left guilds, and made some lasting friends. There are many great memories I have of WoW, but nothing beats the thrill I felt starting for the first time, not knowing ANYTHING about class mechanics or gear or talent specs. I learned as I went, asking questions when I needed to, finding some things out on my own. To this day I still laugh at my first attempt at placing talent points. I had them in all three trees trying to be a feral druid. Happily I have learned since then. :D
My favorite WoW memory was the day I'd finally acquired my Azure Netherwing Drake. Those drakes were something that the minute they were anounced I knew I had to have.
I think my favorite memory from WoW would be when my guild killed Ragnaros for the first time, back in patch 1.8. We had been wiping a lot for DC's and warlocks not banishing the Sons of Flame, after an hour of fight, our efforts where rewarded with Ragnaros defeat! And for our efforts that night we got the Eye of Sulfuras among the items he dropped! I don't think any other time I have killed an end boss I have felt with so much joy as that time.
I was a Fire Destro Lock in BC, which was totally not the right way to go, apparently. We were doing our regular Kara run and when we got to Opera it was, finally, not Romeo & Juliet. This time it was the relatively unseen, for our guild, Oz event. Everything was explained, I had to keep fears on Roar while my Fire Mage friend dealt with Strawman. Things were going pretty well when all of a sudden Mage goes down. They were just about to call for a wipe when I picked him up and rather handily juggled CCing him and my original target. As someone who doesn't reallly even like the idea of CCing, let alone do it well, I felt like a god for that encounter. On top of that, it was a moment where my choice to run as Fire was not only the right thing, but it was what saved us. It was absolutely fantastic.Never did see Oz again after that, shame.
My favorite moment was when i got to level 80 on my druid. i worked weeks on end on trying to get there i got ticked off and was about to quit but then i i just sucked it up and got to level 80 and just celebrated and was so excited and jumped for joy.
My favorite wow moment was downing athremedes for the first time,i had never raided and downing him took our heroic tank and awesome DK soloing the last 10% of his health... my jaw nearly dropped to the floor. awesome.
