My favorite memory from World of Warcraft is, surprisingly, having a friend get stuck in a hole in the middle of the mountains of Azshara. It wasn't the fact that he got stuck that made it memorable, but it was finding ways to use WoW's game mechanics to get him unstuck. We were originally just jumping around in the mountains of Azshara at about 4 A.M.. I had heard from a friend that you could get into Orgrimmar if you found the right place to jump over. Being bored and having nothing else to do, we were trying desperately to find a way over. Suddenly, I looked behind me and he wasn't right there anymore. Walking back a little, I saw him furiously jumping, mounting, dismounting, remounting, and jumping again, just trying to get out of the hole in the ground.Sure, he could have hearthed or I, being a Mage, could have just conjured a portal. We decided to solve it in a way that didn't involve him being taken to another zone, though. I knew that dueling would only take you down to one health, so I scoured the nearby area for mobs that I could kite for him to taunt after a duel. The only wolf I found ran back to his spawn only halfway to the hole.Things were starting to look desperate. I had no Death Knight to Death Grip him out of there, Leap of Faith didn't exist yet, and we couldn't fly in Azeroth yet. Dying seemed like the only option, and that's when I decided we needed to get a bit more creative. I remembered that I had a Dark Rune stashed away on an alt, which might be able to do the trick of killing him.I sent the rune over to my Mage in Azshara, and used my magical Engineering powers to summon a magical mailbox. Trading the rune to my helplessly stuck friend, I closed my eyes and hoped it would work. We started a duel, and right when I got him down to one health, he used the rune, leaving a corpse at the bottom of the hole. We both cheered, and he walked his ghost back to just outside the hole, becoming a free Paladin once again.Whether it's figuring out what's causing a wipe on a hard boss, or getting unstuck from a hole, I think the best moments for me in WoW are always thinking creatively to solve problems.

my favorite memory is getting the achivment for the alliance as a lvl 50
My favorite memory is when I finally obtained Loremaster (in WotLK). It was time to raid, but I was so close to getting the achievement that I asked my rl to wait just a minute to invite me. I turned in my last quest in Azshara (to an NPC who doesn't exist anymore) and got Loremaster to the surprise and applause of my guild! TI then said I was ready and had a great raid evening. :)
My favorite moment in World of Warcraft was during Vanilla WoW. My guild and I were doing a 40man Molten core run when one of our officers decided to pull Golemagg from the ramp instead killing all the trash mobs and going around. Somehow.. We still managed to kill the boss ! :D
So many memories....I would have to say my favorite memory is when I first stood in front of Illidan. I had been anticipating that since I first saw the teaser for BC.
My favorite moment has to be when I playing with my dwarf shaman on Jaedanar. I was level 19 and my guildmates and I were waiting for another one of our guildmates to hit level 15 so we can all go to the battlegrounds. Well, the entire time we were waiting, I couldn't do anything that would give me experience. I stayed in Loch Modan and just fished and cooked. During this time, one of my guildmates decided to comment on my current actions. He said, "I've never seen someone tried so hard to not level up." I was laughing so hard that I could barely breathe.
my favorite memory is when my gf got wow and i had to help her figure out everything and do quest with her. it was allways funny to her say oh crap oh crap help help.
Best memory I have from World of Warcraft is the first few weeks into the game; launching the game that very first time, rolling a Tauren Male Warrior, and spending nights upon nights reading quests, being sucked into the game, exploring the plains of Mulgore and the Barrens. I remember the awesome sight of those green plains as far as the eye could see, the music, the sounds, the very first MMO I ever played... I still sometimes think back of those days all those years ago whenever I fly over Mulgore, a little wizened now. But even though now I know my rotations, my BiS gear, my raid tactics, and have a set of alts at 80+, I still get sentimental when I think of those awesome days. For the Horde, for the Tauren, for Mulgore!
I've had tons of great moments playing this game since the first week of it's release. But if i had to pick the most epic, or just plain amazing moment i've ever had or seen in this game. It would have to be my 10-man raid teams first day on Chimaeron. We had been trying a couple attempts and got him pretty low, but it wasn't until this last time when we got insanely close then we started losing people when P2 started. We were slowly getting picked off 1 by 1 and the only people that were left alive was me (a Death Knight) and a mage. Chimaeron took off after the mage and he hit ice block then starting burning again as Chimaeron came to me, the mage kept letting his Arcane Blast stack thinking there was a chance. I shadowmelded and Chimaeron went back after the mage, I got up behind him and blew all my cooldowns and we ended up beating him, that was the greatest moment I have ever seen in this game.
