My favorite moment in WoW was when I found my Time-lost-proto-drake. I had been camping it for 2 days with minimal hours of sleep. I literally beat a hunters arcane shot to it with my moonfire. I was one of the most happy players on my server. =) It might have also been the worst day for that hunter.now a long time later I'm at 116 mounts and counting =) I'm looking foward to all the new mounts coming out in 4.2!
My most memorable WoW moment was probably getting Too Hot To Handle from Karsh Steelbender completely on accident. New to heroic tanking, with 2 dps dead, me fumbling to pull him in and out of the fire, and multiple spawns worth of adds, the last dps, a mage, managed to pull enough dps to get him down from ~300k. Got the achievement, and went on to clear BRC. My guild doesn't hesitate to remind me of my accidental achievement every time we run BRC now.
My favorite moment was when in vanilla you had to walk to the dungeons because I found it more difficult and I like difficult things....
My best memory of World of Warcraft ( TBC ) is when i went to Shattrath, without any thoughts and saw "the beauty of the world". I switched my off hand to Bouquet of red rose, then cast it on her ! She did /smile emote and then /happy. That's how i met my wife.
My favorite WOW memory has to be the day of the opening of the gates of AQ.All of us level 60s were standing around Silithus just waiting while all the invading mobs were being killed and killing people. The huge elites were so awesome and so many people were there it was exhilarating. After all those quests from gathering cloth and food and herbs and the raid quests , it was neat to feel like we were actually impacting the gaming world around us.
My favourite, or at least most memorable moment of WoW would have to be back in the days of BC when the only way to get from Darnassus to Stormwind was to walk all the way from the boat to Menethil Harbour to Ironforge. Ah the memory of me and two other level 10s walking through the croc infested swamp and trying to kill any croc that would attack us. An adventure such as that has not been had in quite the while....
Favorite memory? Ah, that's tough! I think my favorite memory was back in vanilla, when I completed my Stormrage set. I felt awesome :P To this day, I think it's one of my favorite looking sets, too.
Was online when the alert popped up that the realm was going down for a rolling restart in 15:00. On a whim, decided to head to Sholazar and logout at one of Loque'nahak's spawn points. Finally made it to the Skyreach Pillar (had to take a zeppelin AND have a rotten sense of direction ) with ~4 minutes to go and was cautiously flying in for a look (wretched wasps everywhere!). Turns out, that pale smear was him and an OMGfreakage ensued. Making a bee-line to land (nervous about getting stung to death because I was only 77), the 10+ seconds it takes to dismount and dismiss my active pet was The.Longest.Evar! Without time to put a trap (realm was going down in 1+ minutes when I started the tame), Loque'nahak almost killed me. Thankfully, I lasted long enough and hearthed home with 15 seconds to spare.Being that, not only was this the first time I went looking for Loque'nahak, it was also the first spawn point I checked, hands down, this is my favourite Epic fireside tale. =)
My favorite memory is the first time I stepped into Icecrown Citadel with a guild group and we began to pull. Listening to all the dialogue and it being my first time raiding was so intense for me, I'll never forget how nervous I was about doing all the fights and whether or not I'd be able to grasp all of the mechanics. I had no idea what to expect because I had only started playing a few months before that moment. I had put so much preparation into getting ready for that night and making sure I knew all of the fights and could practically recite all of the mechanics.
My favorite moment was when i got to level 20 with my paladin because i could get a mount and didn't have to travel so slow between places :)
Well I created my wow account on the 13th of September 2005 with 3 college buddies when there was that Corrupted Blood glitch which as you can imagine made us all very confused when we died instantly randomly lol!So many good times back then, Got to 60 at Xmas 2005 and BRD = Most of my Xmas day lol. I remember seeing my rogue mate irl getting his full T1 i was SO jelly I still only had like 2 pieces. Most likely the best moment ever though was saving up and getting my first epic mount again at like Xmas time, Oh man I was so over joyed you cannot actually imagine haha. And also many times in bgs as ally on sylvanas rolling them down in premade and getting abuse from level 1s for being in premade! I also remember when stealing loot got you Blacklisted and was a big deal because you couldn't name change or change server or anything like that and all the guilds were mostly friends and would communicate. I think honor and friendship meant a lot more back in the day.Just a few off the top of my head. :)
I think my favorite moment in wow is when me and some four friends went to silvermoon city one bored afternoon and assassinated the king there, the entire time we were swapping cool downs, the tanks had to keep taunting off of each other because their hp would be too low. During the fight every once in a while a horde would pop up and some of the dps would turn on him. Good times
My favorite moment is when i make 100g selling herb back in vanilla wow :)
my favorite moment was when snarler had the resist buffs, & I'd waited around for some time for him to spawn back in vanilla warcraft, he finally spawned & I tamed him, before the pet change went in :)
