my favorite memory was the first time i cleared deadmines, it was in the beginning of burning crusade and it was really hard. it was a guild run and we wiped 3 times on van'cleef but on the 4th and last try we did it and got my first blue item from the quest. for me it was a big accomplishment. now 4 years later im still here as a level 70 twink.
My favorite memory of WoW is the companionship in my first raiding guild. On my first character back in BC I started a guild when i was only around lvl 20 or 30. It grew into a raiding guild and a group of very close friends. We raided Karazhan and Gruuls and had any number of the trials that raiding guilds go through but always pulled together to overcome them. The reason this is my favorite memory of WoW is because it taught me that on the other side of those avatars is a person with feelings and hopes. I made such close friends with my raiders that a couple of them wrote to me while I was in Basic Combat Training for the Army and sent me words of encouragement when I needed it most, and birthday wishes when no one there cared that it was my birthday. For me, the best part of the World of Warcraft is the people that bring it to life.
my favourite memory of WoW was infront of Blood Queen in Icecrown Citadel when i was explaining tactics about the ray that does between 2 players telling then when it does it you have to hug each other... When the fight started and she did the ray i saw on the chat people spamming /hug, /hug, /hug.... the best part of it is that they didn't joking.. they actually did it seriously...
I also Remember this very very wierd moment.. It was around burning crusade im pretty sure... I took a boat from Menethil Harbor to Darkshore and there was other people on the boat. Then when we were very long from shore (right before the thing where the map come on the screen and then you are at kalimdor) this lol wierd omg bug happened and the boat just dissaperead. And all of us was just like wtf? omg! get back to shore! swim swim... we all died. and all of us took sickness. except someone that thought they could get back without sickness ress. and that was a very wierd memory. thanks for reading
My favorite memory in WoW was when I had my first mount, this sensation of liberty to run around the world. It was a magic moment for me.
My best memory of WoW would have to be at the start of Cata. Me and a friend stood in line for almost 10 hours just to get one of the first copies of the Cataclysm. There was snow outside and cold as *!@# plus I had holes in my shoes xD . Then when I finally got it, I hurried home, instalerade it and poof I was inside. I hurried to Vashj'ir because I thought it seemed so damn cool and it was: D
I think it was when i killed Lich King for the first time. Yeah sure, it was just 4 months before Cataclysm got released or something, but i still remember that almost orgasmic feeling in my heart when i got to see him kill us all xD
My favourite moment in WoW must be the first time i tried the game with a friend. We both created a Human paladin and ran around in Elwynn Forest having so much fun! This was in vanilla but it was so amazing that i still remember it. His brother had a lvl 60 character and we both were asking him to help us at all time. And when we went into Westfall, havn't had so much fun in wow since then :)
My favorite moment in WoW was killing my first end-game boss, which was the Lich King. On top of that, I was leading my first end-game guild raid and it was quite an accomplishment for not only me to get my first end-boss kill, but to help nine other people in getting theirs!
My favorite WoW memory was only a few days after I started. My friend recruited me with recruit a friend, we were about level 44 when this awesome occurrence happened: we were running a PuG group (before the dungeon finder) in Zul'Farrak. We were at the gauntlet, then I yelled something along the lines of, "Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!" as I ran down into the massive group of trolls below. I didn't lose threat once, nor did I die, I felt like a true champion.
My favorite memory is when I completed the Gunship Battle in Icecrown on my old Death Knight first. It is the best encounter ever, even tho it ain't hard. After 2 tries we successfully destroyed the Aliiance Gunship. It's awesome! I mean, c'mon, ship battles? Epicness guaranteed! Still can't forget it and I'm awaiting for another encounter like that.
