My best memory from Wow is when my friend called me and asked if i wanted to join him on doing some daily quests. When i logged on to my charr who i had parked in storm peaks after a night of camping the time lost proto drake. And when i logged on he was there right in front of me. After several months of camping, i had final found him because of a random daily quest request. And that became one of my happiest moments in wow, when i finally got my own time lost proto-drake.
As long as I've played this game, it's hard to really choose one favorite, but one of the most touching moments that's stuck with me over the years is from way back in Vanilla, when epic mounts were god awful expensive for a very casual player at the time, and my girlfriend who plays mostly Alliance characters while I play mostly horde, coordinated with my family and friends to gather up all the gold and buy me my first epic mount on my birthday, and had my main logged in, and the screen covered to surprise me when I got home.

My favorite memory would have to be back when I first started playing and a random stranger started whispering me and asking if I was new. After discovering that I'd only been playing for a few days and that this was my first MMO, he decided to show me around and walk me from Darnassus to Stormwind. The trip took, literally, hours to make. I was amazed by all the different landscapes and creatures we encountered along the journey. I remember dodging crocolisks in wetlands (and corpse hopping when we weren't fast enough), seeing a giant waterfall and jumping off it (to this day I don't even know where we went during that trip), and of course riding the tram from Ironforge to Stormwind. I believe that this tour and the interaction with a helpful player was what got me addicted to WoW in the first place and I know I wouldn't be as interested in the game without the helpful interactions that I had early on. In fact, he's the one that sent me to the wonderful Wowhead.com site back when it was first starting. :)
My favorite moment is the launch of cata, I have never witnessed the launch of an expansion. I was one of the first in my realm as soon as it went live. This was my favorite moment because I have never seen so many people in 1 spot. Everyone fighting to learn master flying and everyone fighting to finish the quest first. It was amazing, I was sad though cause I couldn't do much because my laptop couldn't handle so many people. I can only imagine how the launch of vanilla wow was must of been intense.
My favorite memory has to be The first time we took down the Lich King as a guild. We had been together for about a year and were now expanding, so we got together a group of our core raiding members and we decided that it was time to kill Arthas. We wiped the first time, but with a little help from WOWhead and Youtube, we were successfully able to bring down the Lich King and get the title "Kingslayer"
Best memory for me was my guilds first LK kill. We had recently lost a core member of our group in real life, so we dedicated the kill in his memory.
My favorite memory is when i first switched over to my current realm, where the friend who recruited me plays. The first time I whispered him he went crazy, because he didn't know about the realm transfer feature (We had only been playing the game for a few months). I joined his guild and fit in immediately. There's no time like the first time =)
My favorite moment was reaching lvl 55 on my warrior back in patch 3.3. I was studying for an exam and was rushing to try to lvl up so that I can study and stop worrying about my darn exam haha It was such an achievement at the time since I was still new to the game. Wowhead has been my awesome one stop source for help and may you guys keep going strong!
Best Guild souvenir ever : KILJAEDEN first down for our guild , the day before the Launch of Wrath of the Lich King.WotLK launched a Wednesday here , we set up a special tuesday raid (tuesday is generally a resting day for us) to finish the bad guy. And we did it. We downed Burning Crusade on his last night !
My favorite memory would have to be back in 40 man days in Vanilla WoW. When you had to applying to end game guilds, only to try to complete the long chain quest to get your Tier .5, 1, 2, 3. I remember spending hour to even days running quest, instances, raids, ect..... That was also the days where you needed to know your class role and not just face roll over your keyboard haha!
My best memory was when I actually downed Kel'Thuzad in 25m back in Naxx's days. I was a regular Pug tank for a Guild (Got Drood) that I ran the 10m version till my own guild could start running it. That try, I was an add tank but for a obscur mean I also had to pick the boss due to tank dying to a Shadow Fissure. Healers were struggling tjust to keep me up till we burn the last 9%. My HP bar was going bungee and came near 3hp but we cleared him. Boundless Ambition actually drop but the boss tank got it :( .
My most memorable memory in wow was my lucky mount day, I got the Ravenlord, Swift White Hawkstrider, Twilight Drake and the Ashes of Al'ar al on one day. Only that cursed Deathcarger from Rivendare lasts... even after more then 200 runs still nothing *sobs*
My favourite moment in WoW was when, after countless of hours of farming stone elementals in Arathi Highlands at lvl 40, I could afford my first mount.A couple of days later and IRL friend of mine and I spent a lot of time farming for his mount too. It took a while, but it was worth it!It was awesome!
My favourite moment... A little after Wrath came out, I was on my first character ever, my tauren druid and had just hit level 68. Went to my trainer and learned Flight form! I was all "Oh my god! I can fly!" I was jumping off the giant mushrooms and shapeshifting back to save myself for hours after! x)
