I've always like Grizzly Hills best. It has a cool, green alpine beauty, great variety, plenty of combat as well as many peaceful places and the sound is great too.
My favorite zone would have to be Mount Hyjal. The lore there is just phenomenal and I always pick that zone over Vashjir. It holds sentimental value to me as Jetfyre is my very first toon and is my druid. She lived in Hyjal and was there during the invasion. When I got to go back into Hyjal(the raid) and have her beloved(whom is now my irl fiance and we met through wow) come with her to see what hells she endured before her druidic training began, it was a night I'll never forget.

Karazhan takes #1 in the instance department for being one of the most epic raids of my time in WoW, the voices of each boss as you encounter, battle and defeat them, the unique trash pulls from freezing ghouls to exploding actors, and the best freaking raid event ever, CHESS.
Undoubtedly Nagrand, it looks fantastic even if you aren't on the highest settings. A zone where I truly feel like having in-game sound on is worth it
I know nobody will agree with me but I personally like Silithus the most. All of the bugs and moving parts really stuck with me after I left the zone. It is the most unique zone I have ever encountered which is also why I loved AQ so much.
Feralas, I mean have you ever seen so much green? Trees that walk, ogres, dragonkin, sprites, giants and harpies. It has it all including awsome scenery with hanging vines, waterfalls and super deep valleys. The old parachuting from the Twin Colassals was a hoot to. Now Camp Mojache has the biggest group of despondent taurens you ever saw, makes you want to cry. But on a summer day when it's way to hot out, your ac quit working and you can't find a fan, fly around Feralas and cool off for a spell.
Duskwood, pre-shattering. It was honestly the first place in the game that I ever felt any sort of fear. Of course, it helps that I was something like level 15 at the time, and there was an "OMG ? HUNTER BY STALVAN" while I was running through to the town. But overall, the atmosphere there was just fantastic. Very creepy.
I hold Feralas and Tanaris in a special place in my heart; I'm thinking specifically of vanilla WoW though, when Noggenfogger Elixir was kind of a big deal. Tanaris brings back memories of exploring, and Feralas is just, in my opinion, the most beautiful zone in the game.Edit: HOW COULD I FORGET: Maraudon. Favorite instance. Some friends and I would have fun messing around at the part where you jump off the waterfall, right before the first hydras; if you looked up at the sky and turned your Gamma all the way up in the video options your screen turned blindingly white, which in retrospect actually doesn't sound fun but it was amusing at the time. Probably my favorite zone.
So far, hands down, the new and improved Redridge Mountains. It has an epic feel you don't get again for a long time. You get to handle giant Ettins, take down a much cooler Yowler, and... become a member of the A Team! ...I mean, Bravo Company. Nothing like rubbing yourself in fox poop to sneak into an orc base packed full of elites culminating in a massive explosion! Then you have to stand by as your comrades are struck down and your leader, the great John Keeshan is carried away to an (un)certain fate.
Mine would have to be the wetlands. It was just so amazing for me to be there, it was the first real "do something" for me in my adventures of my epic dwarf hunter. Tamed the first pet that I actually liked - the wetlands crocalisk. Ah.. the memories.
