I have to give my vote to Netherstorm, not for the feel of the zone itself, or for most of the content, but for that one friend I picked up who I'll never see the last of.The day I met Archmage Vargoth, back in TBC, I knew we'd be strong friends. I had so many sights to show him, and he couldn't run away. Maining a Warlock, the idea that I had a mage locked in a tower, unable to escape me, who I summoned purely for my own amusement will never get old. I completed the Higher Learning achievement purely to taunt him further. I Ghouled him during the Scourge event pre-wotlk.Yes, Netherstorm holds the first of my fond memories for Archmage Vargoth, and my life in wow would not be the same without him.http://i.imgur.com/oOkVL.jpgHere he is being introduced to Keristrasza. They got along swimmingly, and had Keristrasza's prion been usable outside of Coldarra, she'd have joined by team for ever.
DEEPHOLM FOREVER!

It's gotta be Hillsbrad Foothills pre-shattering. The amount of world PVP that happened there in classic was more than enough reason to avoid queuing battlegrounds back then. It's a shame that world PVP was never like that again.
Hillsbrad Foothills is such a good place to be and take a rest at afternoon.
Deepholm is the best zone in the game. Period.
My favorite zone hands down has been Tanaris. I love all the sand dunes and bones. Plus its inhabited with pirates and goblins, as well as secret coves and ancient ruins/temples. It looks amazing at night too.
Although many have proven visually pleasing and fun to level in, I believe Grizzly Hills was my favorite. The scenery was beautiful, the quests were mostly simple and straight forward, there were a few rare spawns to keep an eye out for, and the music was strangely upbeat and folkey, which was a refreshing change that gave the zone a lot of personality. It was that one zone I always breathed a sign of relief as i got for I knew I could blast out 3 4 easy levels while tapping my foot to the catchy music.
Dragonblight. Awesome lore about the Lich King. Plus, the cut-scene at the gates of Icecrown is quite epic.
Vash'jir. It's amazing for caster world pvp against most melee classes. The challenge of the Whale Shark, and it's fun for its storylines involving big oversized crustaceans and naga's.
Vash'jir. Why? Because it was... different. A questing zone in the middle of the sea that wasn't completely terrible for navigating and had a really awesome scenery. And I'm also always there trying to catch that stupid fish for mount even though I killed it once before patch 4.1 QQ
Favorite Zone? Deffently has to be Silithus. I remember stepping into there for the first time and seeing the massive swarming pillars of bugs not a stone throw away. I never got a chance to do the opening of the gates. But it sill was. and is a blast to quest there.
