I am pretty upset that this is a "Main Hand" weapon.

A rogue in heirloom shadowcraft with two of these on its back like in vanilla would sure be a sight.

Throw in Fiery/Icy and it would be the last character you need.

Blizzard seems to be finally bringing tanking gear into play, with BoA items.

So my question is, if its based off of the original Skullforge Reaver, then why not take away the "Parry", Add some "Hit" to it, and switch the "Main Hand" to "One Hand"? Since you know, the original one was just a "One Hand" to begin with. I don't know one tank who would complain about not being hit capped, and if you switch it to just "One Hand" Oh look, Frost DKs and Fury Wars actually have a One Hand to level up with that actually has their stats on it! Its genius!

Rage generation is normalized to weapon speed since 4.0 hit, you get the same amount of rage with this as with a 1.4 speed weapon.

It's also more effective to use slow weapons since instant-cast abilities based off of weapon damage (e.g. Devastate, Crusader Strike) will strike much harder on a slower weapon compared to a faster weapon with the same average white DPS.

Not entirely true. You do get the same amount of rage per second but not rage per swing.

As such a slower weapon that hits harder gives more rage with each blow but then hits less often (the basis behind weapon damage normalization as well). Cause an effect here is while you get larger bursts of more rage you have longer down times between swings which can prove somewhat problematic and particularly so in the very low levels. Prior to being able to get Shield specialization (so till level 19) a warrior tank must run at his target, swing, rend, swing, thunderclap. That could be a few seconds in the best of times and a few more with miss/dodge/parries. This might seem redundant but factors in when you rely on weapon strikes for Rage in the early levels since they are predictable and incomming damage that may or may not be avoided isn't.

Having all Argent Tournament dailies unlocked, doing each of them, and choosing the Champion's Purse results in gaining 14 each day. It takes 60 seals to get any Chest or Helm heirloom (as well as the Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver , Venerable Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge , or aBalanced Heartseeker : the only weapons for 60 seals).

To get a chest piece, helm, and 60-seal heirloom weapon, it will take 13 days of doing each daily, using this logic :

60 Seal heirloom takes 5 days to gain, 70 seals are gained in the process.
Buying a 60 seal heirloom after 5 days leaves you with 10 seals left towards the next heirloom.
Four days nets 56 seals, with the 10 you had remaining from the previous heirloom, you will have 66.
Buying your second heirloom will leave you with 6 extra seals towards your next heirloom.
Add this to another 4 days (and another 56 seals) and you come up to 62 seals.
Buying your third heirloom on the 13th day will leave you with 2 seals left over.

This is easily proven by the following : 3 heirlooms at 60 seals each = 180 seals needed.
14 seals are gained each day. 180/14=12.85 days. Considering you can't earn more than 14 seals any given day, you round up the 12.85 days to 13.

So, in the case of the new tanking heirlooms, you could have all non-guild reward heirlooms in 13 days, with out ever setting foot in a bad PUG for Justice Points!

BOA Gear:
I have talked to a GM and found out the following from them...

Can not be transferred to ther Servers even though it is Binds to Battle.net Account
You can transfer it between the opposing, as long as it is the same Server
If you have multiple WOW accounts you can transfer them to another one of you Characters as long as it is the same Server

I wish since it was BOA you could move you BOA gear to another Server, the only was to do so is to have it on your Character and transfer them ($25.00 US) to the Server that you desire to have them on.

Dont be confused it you dont find the weapon immediatly. The tooltip picture box does kind of look like a dagger. ;)

A death knight can runeforge the sword without making it Soulbound, therefore, it can be sent to an alt as before. However, the rune is lost (at least if the alt is not a death knight, please someone check). Luckily, if the sword comes back to the death knight, the rune is still there unchanged.
