I thought the achievement was bugged when I capped rep. You need to grab one last quest from Soridormi. Once complete you are awarded the title and achievement.

You get ~250 rep for actively participating in the time rift avent. Another 250 for killing the last boss. 1,000 for the weekly quest. And 300 per boss in Dawn of the Infinite. If you do 1 active time rift a week, and clear all 8 bosses in DotI, thats ~3900 rep per week. You can get an extra ~500 per active time rift you complete in the same week.

This seems like it takes a really long time at first, but it's really only 2-3 weeks if you're able to do a lot of time rifts when you play.

Each rift gives about 500 rep if you join a raid group in LFG and get 7500, and there are other quests and turn ins to supplement additional gains. Go into a spec that allows you to instantly tag logs of mobs and go crazy. I personally skip super long tasks like popping bubbles if they come in the last 2 minutes and just go to town grinding mobs.

If you're a collector or completionist who wants this achievement in the first place, you probably also want the mounts and pets. You'll be close to rank 5 (Legend) when you get all of the above assuming you don't get random drops along the way.

But if you don't care about paracausal flake rewards, you can run Dawn of the Infinites for 300 rep per boss. With 10.1.7 here, heroic difficulty can be done every day, and mythic every week. Personally I'd find going through it so many times to be more of a grind, but that's just me. It's unknown whether mythic+ will give rep in 10.2 since the rep items are technically dropped and not just rewarded for boss kills.

You can easily grind this out now.

The Mythic Megadungeon has been split up into two heroic dungeons. Each boss still gives you 300 rep, so just keep chaining those two instances in the dungeon tool, and you should be done pretty fast.

No need to wait for rifts :)

This achievement can be earned in the span of 8-9 days now with the addition of heroic given heroic dungeons reset daily, meaning that you can get 19,600 rep each week from the heroic instances. Followed by an additional 2,800 rep each week if you clear the mythic instance, and then 1k rep each week for doing the weekly event quest too. If you don't want to run the mythic instance then you need to tack on 2 extra days roughly, but this achievement compared to before is a joke now to get with a little bit of effort,
