Yes, this is the achievement for the Warden transmog set. Yes, it does require a full year of doing the trading post monthly reward.

So is a special reward going to be different than a "normal" reward? I really don't want to raid or PvP just to get a different type of reward that would be necessary to obtain the "special" reward.

In short: Hopefully everyone can achieve that with every type of gameplay. (Atleast the types that are already known to work.)

I've said this on Twitter already but I'll say it again (mostly paraphrasing and elaborating on things), an armor set is simply not the right reward for such a long achievement like this.

Besides general character appearance, transmogs are the best way to make your toons stand out and be unique. I've seen players go out of their way, even spending hundreds of thousands of gold, to even get ONE armor piece to add to their set. This principle is even more important for roleplayers (who are the majority of people who actually want a Warden set), who rely on these appearances to tie in with their story as well. To these players, transmog is FAR more important than a mount, which is the usual reward for long achievements like this.

The players have been wanting a set like this for about 6 years now. Making us wait a whole more year is completely unfair. It gets worse when you consider players that will start to play and collect their monthly rewards in the future; they'll also have to wait a whole year to get a set that people are already using before them.

And before anyone says it, no, this is not a reward for a year's worth of grinding. It's not a grind if all you're doing is collecting a currency from your mailbox once a month. Grinding takes active effort, and that effort needs to have the potential to give you your reward sooner. This set reward is basically Blizzard's way of saying "Hey, thanks for being subscribed for a year and logging on at least once a month whether you like it or not! Have a super cool-looking and very sought-out armor set as a gift." It just feels absurd to me, especially considering the need for armor pieces.

With that being said, my suggestion is that Warden armor pieces should be put on the usual trading post rotation, and a mount should replace the set as the achievement reward. Mounts are always a fun way to reward players for completing feats, whether grindy or not, and we will still have the opportunity to add more on to our characters over time, instead of waiting an entire year. The trading post rotation still takes time to cycle through everything, and a slow progression to purchase certain armor pieces is much more rewarding than waiting an entire year to get the whole thing.

It doesn't require too much work. You can complete the monthly requirement in 1 or 2 hours.
So you need to spend 12 to 24 hours in a year to get the Warden set.

It's probably a bug but I'm currently sitting at 4/12 completion for that achievement. Anyone else in that position? I took a screenshot for proof.

Like LudoB99 said, it must be bugged. I just logged on to my auctioning alt, completed the get 5000g from auctions Trading Post activity and it gave me the achievement. pic

The "Trading Post" is in your factions "capitol city" Orgrimmar or Stormwind. The vendors are standing right next to each other. The required currency is Trader's Tender.

Suits me doing 12 lots I Don't come and go from this game like a lot of players. No other games interest me. Hopefully the do the model correct not a carbon copy of the one Maiev hasbut something similar and is done well for every race so no clipping etc.

This achievement is NOT for visiting the trading post, but to collect the special reward listed on your adventure guide. On your adventure guide, you need to get 1000 travel points to get the special reward shown on the left of the progress bar. Once you fill the bar up, go back to the trading post to collect your reward which is usually a mount. Once you collect the reward, you get credit on the achievement. It will still take a year, but be sure you get all 1000 points a month.

I swear I have done it since it came out, but it's only showing "9/12" for me. Is this a bug or do we need to submit a ticket?

EDIT: I hit 10/12 today completing November - did the trading post not come out in January?

i know its not consecutive meaning you dont have to do it 12 shot in a row to get it at the end.. but seriously wou would take a break once in a wile doing this when it takes a year minimum to get it

I've completed the Trading Post every month since it came out and it's only saying 10/12 when it should be 11/12 as completing January should be 12/12 if you have done every month. We have reported this bug in the official forums and have gotten no response.

since I found it hard to find out which one i was missing here are the bonus rewards for each month. And yes they are found here with a little digging.

I found that I obviously missed out on the very first one.

This achievement despite it not being listed also grants 500 extra Trader's Tender (to be collected from the chest).

I skipped a few months in 2023 and only managed to get all the awards since June, excepting July. Does anyone know if any of those monthly adventure log rewards will make a comeback somehow for those who had missed it the first time?

Got all the monthly rewards since Feb 2023. Checked them in the mount, pet and appearances tab. Didn't miss a beat. Yet when I completed Jan 2024 it says I'm at 11/12. Seems the achievement is bugged

As of Patch 10.2.5 I've been awarded the achievement, transmogs and tenders. It seems they snuck a fix in.
