This is the Scenario that continues the arena quest chains from previous expansions, featuring a 5 quest format, where you kill elites and are rewarded with a weapon at the end.

You are not rewarded with a weapong per se. At the end of the scenario you receive Cache of Treasures which has a very low chance to drop a 463 blue with random stats. And some money.

Scenarios are new for WOW and introduced in Mists. Here are a few tips for having a successful scenario. While some of these may seem obvious, not everyone plays the game at the same level and there new players every day.

- Green circles on the ground with a flashing arrow indicate a healing area. Keep an eye on your health and take advantage of these when they are available.

- Don't expect the healing class in your group to provide heals. The scenarios are designed for 3 players of any class to complete. See above.

- Be helpful, considerate and communicate in a positive way. You may have run this scenario 50 times but the other players in your group may be there for the first time. Give players a chance to recuperate between fights, if needed.

- Stay together and work as a team. Things will go much faster and you'll have a better chance at success. If you know a short cut, let the others know.

- Work on the achievements in a pre-made group, rather than expecting 2 other random people to be willing to go for it. It may work out but be advised that most players are just there for a quick way to get Valor.

- If there isn't a tank and you have a lock or hunter in your group, the pets can tank for you as long as you don't pull threat away from them.

The MapID of Arena of Annihilation is 899. This is used for any WoW API function that requires a MapID.

For example, to set your current map to Arena of Annihilation you can type:

/run SetMapByID(899)
