i personally think legacy loot changes will diminish the opportunity of goblins making money out of the old content, with the new changes the will be more chance for people to get their loot they are farming out of the dungeon, meaning less random drops, BOE's ratio will be low because loot will be loot specific for your class. Also am exited for lunar festival those pets are quite a money maker in several realms, the recipes are less profitable, but still a good way to make money this lunar festival
The goblin ethic is a very interesting topic, and with a very thin edge between "good" or "bad". I don't like to take advantage of people, so I won't ever go directly to a person and try to use their ignorance to make gold. Said that though, when I find in the AH or in the trade chat a good deal, I go for it. In case I snipe something in the AH I generally leave it in my mailbox for some time and wait to see if the player will message me or not. If they do (in a polite way) then they will have their items back, if they don't then it's time to craft or resell at my own price.I still remember when I made the mistake of selling some stacks of Shal'dorei Silk for the price of 1 unit. When they got sold literally within seconds after I put them for sale I understood that I did something wrong, and checking my AH confirmed it. I personally didn't ask for the silk back. I learned a lesson and made someone happy with cheap silk.
If I don't take advantage of someone else's labor for my profits, someone else will. The logic of morally deficient wealth-hoarders, of any kind.
The injector story is confusing - didn't the injectors have a stack of 20 w/1 charge each instead of 1 item w/20 charges, netting the same result? Or is he saying he thought he got 400 charges (20x20)?Either way, gold is gold. Never got a request to send things back, but ive gotten nastygrams from people i undercut when farming leather out of firelands was super profitable. I doubled down and drove them out of the market... but I've also gotten nice messages from people, and likewise told people who are listing right as I'm prepping a reset, and collaboration worked out just fine. I imagine if someone asked nice I'd probably give it back as long as I got a refund.
i stop doig gold ages ago from trade skillsat inscrition when i have time still doing wod card luckpretty cheap to do when i had penlty bag space open like 1000-2000 blood card and do some small profits otherwise i dont bother with it at alllegion specially prog boring and way so expensive meterials and recipes vendor recipes asking rep and insane prices
I have to say I’m very excited about reading the Inscription guides. I took it up in MoP when glyphs were a thing, and have been struggling with identifying the marketable ones since they became cosmetic. I’ve been reposting the same three glyphs - all ones I’ve sold before - for like three months or something. I was about to just give up; hopefully the answer is here!
Just got into sniping recently. Very surprising even on a small server all the things people post for so low. I imagine it might be profitable just to have a 2nd account via wow tokens running a sniper, while you went out and did other things on your main account
Good WoW Economy Weekly Wrap-Up, thx for it guys !Thx for the inscription guide. For BfA legacy loot system, i dont think it will solve any unluck some player can experience. That will help in raid where we loot only one or two drops but some raids loot as we are 25 in it already.
TSM4 looks great. I am looking forward to it but first I must learn how to use and make profit with TSM3. :D
I can't say that I take an ethical issue with sniping or undercutting at the Auction House. As long as it is not an exploit or against Terms of Service, anything is fair, no matter if you are a seven year old girl or a sick grandfather (get well soon). Of course it is annoying to get undercut, but that is just the nature of the Auction House, I can't let that bother me to the point where I would harass another player, much less spend so much time to log to other alts to harangue them. My time is to valuable to spend my game time being petty.
Great view on ethics in gold making, it's an interesting topic. Most people have this view that in-game ethics and being polite doesn't need to apply. Funny how people think the lack of IRL contact relieves them of having to behave.
Back when the only way to move things between factions was the neutral auction house, I was sending some crafting mats to one of my alts that I was leveling professions on. My brother was the one buying the mats to give to my alt. We posted a stack of twenty thorium on the AH and he didn't get it cause a gnome next to me bought it instead. I whispered the gnome and he used the /rude and proceeded to camp the ah to snipe more of the mats. I would have given him back his gold, but he just felt the need to be rude.
About the import/export feature: Do I understand that correct that I can import someone else group, etc.? I just signed up for beta :)
Inscription is the last profession i didnt touch, these tips will be helpful !
Where do you draw the line? Do you snipe the Auction House? Have you ever sent something back or been asked to send something back, what did you do?Honestly, I am the person who doesn't know what they are selling and buying and haven't used TSM yet. So i would appreciate it if someone would tell me that i sold it at the wrong cost. However, it is my own fault if I under priced something., unless it was a mistake.. I would give it back to someone if someone made a mistake.
I kind of think they gimped a lot of the professions.I stopped trying to make money with my scribe, and end up just making the glyphs that i personally want. Some of them are still pretty fun, but others are fairly lack luster.
Hmm 1 felword is most of the time ~ 30-60g higher than 1 tome =/
Why TSM is only for premium users? What if I have no omney on it? Would it be free?
TSM3 always felt really daunting, but the UI for TSM4 looks cleaner. I may need to give it another try on its full release! For now, most AH addons feel excessive for my purposes, though I still need SOMETHING to make it useable :pAs for the auction house and underpriced items, sure, I will buy them. I've never had it happen but if I found something extra cheap, like an OBVIOUS error on an item that should have been 10k gold+, I'd probably buy it and then mail them about their error. I wouldn't send the item back unless asked (though I'd certainly have hopes they'd tell me to keep it and say "it was my mistake" :p). If they end up being rude about it though, such as DEMANDING the item back with strong language, I'd probably keep it and not respond.
