Moonsight is a part of Cache of the Moon Treasures of Ardenweald
You'll get the buff after you collect the treasure.
You have to collect 5 tools in the Garden of the Night west of Heart of the Forest flight point.
Gardener's Basket is at the edge of the fountain in the north part of the Garden.
Gardener's Hammer is inside the cart under the bridge to the tree platform not far from the fountain.
Diary of the Night is on the tree platform in the middle of the Garden. Laying on the table.
Gardener's Flute on the ground in the south part of the Garden between two trees.
Gardener's Wand is under the cart in the south part not far from the flute.
After you collect all the tools combine them into Twinklestar's Gardening Toolkit
Bring it to Twinklestar at Tirna Vaal flight point which will reveal the treasure behind her.
She will also grant you Moonsight buff if you ask.

skybox is seen everywhere, on Azeroth and beyond if you have the buff, not just Ardenweald. The skybox has flying luminescent jellyfish, cosmic star circles of ardenweald skybox.

This buff changes the skybox of your current zone to Ardenweald's skybox, and also heavily darkens your surroundings as if it were night. The effect works in any zone while you have the buff. And it's beautiful.

To obtain this buff, first follow the steps to earning Wildseed Cradle. Once complete, Twinklestar will grant you this buff in order to loot the cache behind her, which contains the mount.

Once you have the mount, you can speak to Twinklestar at any time to receive this buff again.

This buff needs to be longer than 10mins. Hell, make it like the inky black potion, I will buy it.

Buff given to you after completing the secret "quest" of finding all the gardening tools. Rewards you with the Wildseed Cradle mount and this buff. When wearing this buff, the environment will be much darker and have a gloomy mystic atmosphere. You can get Moonsight again by speaking to Twinklestar after completing her task, this buff only lasts for 10 minutes at a time though. Seriously should be an hour long or indefinite until right clicked (don't know why it isn't, as it's purely cosmetic and only affects you). Either that or it needs to be a buyable consumable or toy item so it can be used elsewhere. Or better yet, this level of atmospheric darkness needs to be togglable in the graphic settings. Honestly, it looks like how one would think the ideal Ardenweald should look. It reminds me of how Teldrassil & Darkshore are a lot gloomier and darker in the art, cinematics, and Nelf character select screen, than Teldrassil & Darkshore in the actual game. Shadowmoon Valley (WoD), Ashenvale, Teldrassil, Darkshore, Duskwood, Ardenweald, Drustvar, Terrokar Forest, etc etc. So many zones look better with "advanced darkness" on, and in areas with a day/night cycle, it would be wonderful if nighttime around Azeroth was actually this dark. Really adds to the immersion.

Hi all

Small guide How to get Wildseed Cradle in Ardenweald. You can get this mount in 10 min O_o. You just need to do 2 steps:

Step 1:

Find 5 items they all are close to each other :

1. Gardener's Basket 40.3 52.7 between stones on ground
2. Gardener's Hammer 39.8 54.4 on the carriage
3. Diary of the Night 39.0 56.9 use bridges to get to 2nd tree will be on small table
4. Gardener's Flute 38.5 58.1 Kill 4 mobs next to seed on ground
5. Gardener's Wand 38.8 60.1 Under carriage between the wheels kill mob standing next to it.

When you will get them all press on one of them and you will get Twinklestar's Gardening Toolkit.

Step 2:

Fly to Twinklestar 63.9 37.6 at Tirna Vaal She is located close to exit from vilage.
Speak with Her and pick "I found your gardening tools" You will get buff Moonsight for 10 min.
Behind Her is Cache of the Moon is looks like orb. Press on it and get your FREE MOUNT !

You can get this mount in 10 min

Agree the buff should be longer, but at least you can go back and ask her to reapply it.

More's the point though, her text:-

"Our eyes are accustomed to the moonlight and brings out many secrets hidden in the world. Moonsight allows you to see that which only a faerie may see."

I strongly suspect the buff does more than just make the world prettier, and reveals treasure or hidden mobs or similar. Something anyway. Will be keeping my eyes open.

Really cool effect and remains even if you leave Ardenweald - makes the Winter Veil decorations in the garrison look especially nice and atmospheric.

Zone: Ardenwald - Tirna Vaal and Garden of Night
Koordinaten: 63.8, 37.6 - Twinklestar - Tirna Vaal

To get the mount Wildseed Cradle you need to open the Cache of the Moon, which is also part of the achievement Treasures of Ardenweald.
You will need Twinklestar's Gardening Toolkit which is composed of five different items:

The best way to do this is to fly to Root-home and take the path to the east, past Cemnwyleeafee and go right past the roots after the hills.
You are now in the Garden of Night, go a few meters to the right and then immediately left over the small bridge that crosses the pond.

Just to the left after the bridge is a small pond surrounded by roots and rocks. The Gardener's Basket is between the small rock and the middle rock on the left.

After that turn around and you'll see a bridge leading to a tree, pass it on the right, jump over the water and go down the short slope. There is an old cart and on it lies the Gardener's Hammer.

Now go back up the slope and cross the bridge to the second tree. The Diary of the Night is on a table with a chair by the tree, opposite the big drum.

After that, jump down to the right, between the two harps. You will then see three Sicklethorn Slicer dancing or cheering in front of a fourth. The Gardener's Flute is on the ground in front of the large and smaller seed, on which one of the Sicklethorn Slicer is standing.

After that, turn around and you can already see the next cart on the other side. The Gardener's Wand is under the cart between two wheels.

After you have all five items together you can combine them by right clicking on them and you will get Twinklestar's Gardening Toolkit. Take this to Twinklestar in Tirna Vaal.
You will then get the buff Moonsight for 10 minutes and can open the Cache of the Moon which is an orb above Twinklestar.

Not 100% yet, but I think this might be the same effect as Inky Black Potion which you can buy at the Darkmoon Faire. If it is, and you like the effect, you can stock up on those.

Oh how I wish that they'd add an option for scaling the lighting effects for nighttime. I'd opt for nights to look like this (or even darker) instead of the general "it sure is a sunny day in the middle of the night today" effect. The Barrens has always been my biggest gripe. Great effect and will now have to look into the Darkmoon potions.

Oh how i wish the inky black potion had the same effect as this buff.
Inky black is only a black starry sky, while this buff has a deep, blue, dark night sky with constellations and shooting stars.

Make it a toy blizz, and i'll farm it till the end of azeroth!
