These are quite prominent in the forst south of the Cenarion Thicket. They are looted from Olemba Cones, which look very much like a white/blueish diamond - always lying next to trees. Each cone yields 1-3 seeds.

You may find some Olemba Cones in Terokkar Forest, just North East of Stonebreaker Hold amongst Dampscale Devourers around 54,42. Their respawn time is "fast".

They are the little white things next to the trees. Some cones will contain spurts of 2-3 at a time.

You can find olemba cone's near trees between Stonebreaker Hold and Cenarion Thicket.

Confirmed that you can find all the cones you need near the trees between Stonebreaker Hold and Cenarion thicket. They are small and blueish/white. The cones drop between 1 and 3 seeds each. Also, there is a small pocket of 3 or 4 cones by the northeast entrance to Shattrath City (38,15) somewhat by the lake.

I only had to kill a couple lvl 63 spiders while I was meandering around.

Easy gathering quest.

I did mine around 63,37 (Ironjaw is here). I had to collect pelts from the Alpha wolves anyway, and this area had alot of those. The drop isnt as good as other areas, but as long as your there you can 2-4-1.

"Vestments of the wolf spirit" is the pelt quest.

i found a rly good spot there 5 or 6 or more! around 47.31! look around the tree and around this position! try it ( i told you, there are no on 47.31! there are around )!

If you have seeds left over in your bags after you've done the quest, you can safely destroy them.

Just did this with my Herbalist last night and unlike most Seed/Cone collection quests, these CANNOT be tracked with Find Herbs.

(Not that it is difficult to find them.)

I have always wondered, if these are Olemba trees that drop Olemba cones...

...then where do Terocones come from?

If you have more than thirty cones, DO NOT destroy the extra! It destroys all 30 and abandons the quest... I almost cried.

Description

The oily seeds from the forest's olemba trees could prove very valuable. I'd like to gather a larger quantity of them, press them for their oil, and then see what I can do with it.

Just think, there's a whole forest full of trees out there, producing a lot of seeds that go to waste. I don't care if it turns out to be cooking oil, lamp oil, or weapon oil, I won't let it go to waste!

Bring me any of the seeds that you happen to gather from the olemba cones. They're all over the place.
