Mragesh's is at 42, 40. Uses frostbolts as primary attack - non elite.

For those of you w/o the location mod that is just off the edge of the west island from Coilfang Reserve. He spawns directly on the Reserve side and usually underwater and is a large orange Hydra.

All the information here is excellent, the only thing to really add is that it's on a pretty slow respawn timer. I waited for it twice at about five minutes each time. Also, beware the mudfin snappers that are all around the area.

Found him at 42, 41 just off the island in the water, non elite, very easy to solo.

cords are correct the respawn rate is fast, i waited mabye 2 mins if that, very easy to solo, just stand on the island to kill him no need to go into the water.

He's right beneath the "L" in serpent lake on your map - for those that don't have loc points

This is a quest which I would not finish, because of the Water Breathing Potions. The rewards are unnecessary, and if you wish to finish the quest at a later time for money, you can do so easily.

The craftable equivalent to these pots is Elixir of Greater Water Breathing (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=18294) which costs money or mats even if it isn't very expensive.

If you don't like to spend money, don't finish one of the quests which give these potions, preferably this quest which these comments are on.

if u look on ur map hes is in the water on the corner of the island thats SW to the words "Serpent Lake"

As someone else said, the respawn rate on this guy is horrible (part of why I prefer leveling in Northrend to TBC). Just for reference - I killed this guy at the start of TBC. He just now respawned.

(OK, maybe I'm exaggerating. But not by much.)

Description

You've dealt with most of the little hydra, but I doubt Mragesh was impressed by your display. He's a cunning, ferocious beast and he's dogged many an angler in his time.

I intend to be the last one he'll ever bother. He's bound to be hiding deep in the waters of Serpent Lake, to the northeast. He's a has-been; he just doesn't know it yet.
