Kataru - 85, 90 in the top of the tall tower. A few witch doctors are in the tower as well, the rest are sparsely spread out in the camps with the seers/oracles.

If you have trouble finding the Witchdoctors, they are in and around the big hut!

Umbrafen Witchdoctors can be quite hard to find elsewhere in the Umbrafen Village, but I did find one on each floor in Kataru's house (84,90). From the looks of it, this is probably the best location to search for these specific mobs. As I was typing this, one Umbrafen Witchdoctor had indeed respawned on each of the floors in the building, which only strengthens my theory.

great quest to do with the escort one with the tauren its both sides im waiting for her to return right now she is in a small hut north of the big building so great quest to do

Witchdoctors can be found around and in the biggest hut (84 90). Kataru is also in there on the top floor guarded by a witchdoctor....very easy kills as a 63 hunter. cause of the poor numbers of withchdoctors you might want wait for respawn at the big hut....takes about 4 mins te respawn.

im doing this mission right now and there is an unkillable guy! hard to believe, but go to 86:82 and there will be an oracle up against a mushroom. try to kill him lol

For those that don't use coordinates, Kataru is upstairs in a tall hut in the southeast part of Umbrafen Village - look for the bonfire.

1. The Umbrafen Tribe
• Accept the quest, The Umbrafen Tribe, from Ikeyen at coords 80.4, 64.2 (Cenarion Refuge).
• Travel south to Umbrafen Village, located in the vicinity of coords 83, 82.
• Kill 6 Umbrafen Oracle, 8 Umbrafen Seer, 6 Umbrafen Witchdoctor.
• Enter a large hut/building at coords 84.9, 90.2, and travel to the top.
• Kill Kataru.
• Travel north, back to Cenarion Refuge, to coords 80.4, 64.2.
• Turn in the quest to Ikeyen.

Kataru's respawn is approximately forever.

Team up with other player's if you find yourselves all in the tower.

suddenly stopped being able to get credit for Witchdoctor kills. I'm 10 levels higher than those mobs, but that shouldn't be a problem, right? Also unable to get credit for Kataru. Maybe wait for a server restart? I don't want to abandon the quest, people are swamping (lol) the quest area.

The Umbrafen Tribe

Ikeyen at the Cenarion Refuge wants you to travel to Umbrafen Village and slay Kataru, 8 Umbrafen Seers, 6 Umbrafen Witchdoctors and 6 Umbrafen Oracles.

Description

The naga are terrible, yes. But even more terrible are the traitor tribes of Broken and Lost Ones that helped them!

The worst of all are the Lost Ones of the Umbrafen tribe; they use dark magic to trap and enslave others. They're especially cruel to escaped slaves and would slit my throat if I left the refuge even for a day.

Travel to Umbrafen Village south of here and kill them and their leader, Kataru. Until then I will fear for my life every single day.
