Abandoning the quest will not allow you to see other dialog choices. As of the first day of the patch, the optional dialogues remain completed, and you will need to reload your UI to complete the mandatory parts of the quest again.

Talking to Narvra during this quest, when mentioning to her that you get saved sometimes too, I had the option of telling her about being being saved from the legion ship at the end of Tomb of Sargeras! Seems there's a bunch of options you can unlock by doing certain quests/raids wherein you get saved by other characters. Love quests like these!

Honestly, what a great quest. Taking your time to read through all the dialogue options was really rewarding. Talking to Veritistrasz and Voraxian about their friendship, to Rupert why the elements are upset, to the leader why it is okay to show weakness and to the Mechagnome how being in Zaralek Cavern is already a big enough discovery. I suggest you take your time with this quest.

There's a slight continuity error in Rupert, the Gentleman Elemental's dialogue.

This part of his dialogue refers to the events of Cataclysm, which took place between 28 ADP (After Dark Portal) and 29 ADP, 11-12 years ago.

Well, you might find yourself a tad aggressive if the land you were bound to was torn asunder by an insane Earth-Warder.

Legion, 32-33 ADP, 7-8 years ago.

Then, as you started to recover, you were stabbed with a giant Titan sword.

Shadowlands, 35-36 ADP, 4-5 years ago.

Then, as you started to recover yet again, you had your very essence nearly sucked into the realms of Death.

He ends his dialogue by saying the following, which does not line up with the amount of time that's elapsed since Cataclysm, the first event he refers to, as Dragonflight is currently taking place during 40 ADP according to official sources.

It has been quite the two decades is all I am saying.

For it to have been two decades, it would have to be 48 ADP or 49 ADP, which does not make sense since I don't think there's any indication that we've been stuck on the Dragon Isles for almost a decade between 10.0 and 10.1.

It would have been more accurate for him to say "it has been quite the decade is all I am saying" since you can hardly round 11-12 up to 20.

This is a tremendous little quest and shows the devs really do put love into the game.

There are dialog options and plenty of callbacks to prior events in the game. There's actual coding to look at things your character has done previously, to bring up in the conversation. There's heart.

It's so good, I had to gush a little. I love an RPG when there's actually immersion and even the smallest number of options to affect the outcome of something so simple as a discussion with an NPC.

This quest seems to bug out occasionally where none of the NPCs can be interacted with. If that's the case, you'll need to wait about 5 minutes and then they can suddenly be interacted with again. Reloading UI didn't help. Not sure why this happens, but has happened on 2 of my alts now.

Anyone know what happens if you ask Veritistrasz about his and Voraxian's friendship? Or what the elemental says if you speak with him? I couldn't go back to that dialogue option even abandoning/retaking :(

Telling an orc that its "okay to not be okay" and asking dragons and a living rock about their feelings. I thought they were joking when people commented on the "bluehair" dialogues of this expansion. Metzen save us from this children's cartoon.
