It would seem you also get some from world quests in the zone the quest is located in. You can also get 10 from the War Crate drop.

Any worthy activity in Azure Span will reward you with these while you are on the quest. Killing rares and players, looting trasures, community feast, etc

To perhaps state the obvious, you need to have WarMode ON in order to collect Sparks of Life.

I can accept the Quest on my lvl 60 alt - but not on my lvl 70 main (WM on both)

This is perhaps the WORST weekly quest for Iskaara rep. Not only do you need to be in warmode (And get ganked by minmaxing meta tryhards) but the droprate is atrocious outside of quests.

Good luck completing it IF you by happenstance complete the WQs WITHOUT warmode.

As of the first week of this being out -

I have done more than finish the main story - I'm about to run out of content outside of the season 1 activities.

This quest DOES NOT APPEAR FOR ME. I have done everything. It does not work. I will not be receiving the 428 pvp gear like everyone else is this week. If you are not able to get the quest to appear I'm sorry but this is clearly a bug.

EDIT: I went to Azure to do my pvp quest and was given sparks. The quest appeared in my log although I still cannot interact with the quest giver. Don't know what will happen when I finish but it's not working properly.

Anyone got any suggestion as to what I can do? I have WM on, I'm in azure span, I have the quest, but I am only getting sparks from WQs(which I've now ran out of) and player kills. I've looted treasures, dirt piles, killed a few rares, done normal quests, done campaign quests and even done the cooking fiesta, but so far no sparks from anything but pvp kills or WQs.

Any help appreciated.

This quest is a load of baloney. Everybody is trying to do it so the dirt piles and sacks are never up - I spent 2 hours flying around and found 1 (one) dirt pile. 2 hours for 2.5% of this quest!

Skip it. It's not worth it.

The quest is obtained by talking to Keenu in Valdrakken. It requires you to be L70+, and in order to get any progress you need to have War Mode enabled. Also make sure you're doing content in the specified zone in Dragon Isles, as it rotates weekly.

Disturbed Dirt: 5 Sparks of Life (Requires Small Expedition Shovel)
Expedition Scout Pack: 5 Sparks of Life
Rare Spawn NPC: 8 Sparks of Life
World Quest: 10 Sparks of Life
Elite (Blue) World Quest: 15 Sparks of Life
Elite (Purple) World Quest: 25 Sparks of Life
Player kill: 1 Spark of Life
War Supply Chest: 10 Sparks of Life

I think that's all the type of content that yields Sparks of Life. If it isn't, please feel free to let me know and I'll make sure to edit it in.

I really like that they added the completion script to all of the sparks quest, but I just spent way to much time trying to find and either learn to create or alter a script to have all four combined. I came across a script for four quests and would print out whether it was completed or not completed... but altering it for the sparks quests was not working at all. Does anyone know how to fix this to work?

This is a quest shaped dumpster fire.
An overall horrible experience.
Allow me to chime in my 2 cents.
I did this on my pvp char. Lvl 70. My main has loremaster. So this char made absolutely 0 pve, quests.
So apart from the bs drop rates,
Allow me to add that:
This quest is locked behind the introductory quests, despite being a pvp quest.
So I had to complete the "Welcome to the Dragon Isles" questline,
Until the "Open Orientation", which seems to lift the lock on the zones.

This said, also please also mind that the quest itself seems to have a sorta rotation component. It rotates the zones it can be completed in. And not sure about this, but it may even wipe the progress of the previous zones.
So if you were doing: "Sparks of Life Valdrakken", make sure you haven't woken up to the quest: "Sparks of Life: Ohn'ahran Plains" instead.

And then the drop rates.
Egregiously fin dreadful.

Unless you want to attack opposite faction players, very achievable without that sort of conflict. Just do WQs, loot chests, kill rares etc, stay out of the way of opposing faction peoples. Didn't take me long to do and in this case, was looking to build Tuskarr rep anyway. Particularly worth the honor/conquest rewards if you don't do battlegrounds or arenas.

Something seems to be bugged this week doing WQs in Azure Span. I don't think pet battles ever counted but I've done a dragon race and a gear WQ and neither added sparks to my total (it doesn't help that they nerf the number of chests and dirt piles).
