Currently, this quest is giving reward to some lucky players, for me, it shows no reward at all (people are getting weapons from it by the way)

Hi all

On This WQ You need to Kill mobs until 100%. Most of them are Rare then go LFG to make it faster. You can get good reward if you lucky.

Had a Wind Storm over this WQ and the monsters with the wind powers are really nasty. They will chain stun and knockback. Careful pulling big groups.

I was a bit confused by this - specifically about rescuing the friendly NPC'S (Injured Imbu Waterseer) as trying to free them returned a message that I was missing the bandages. Then spotted the first aid style crates lying around. Just figured I'd add that here in case it helped anyone else. You do need one crate per NPC as the bandage is used up when rescuing them.

Be very careful when pulling groups of mobs here. The Primal Earthshapers, which are littered throughout the area, have an ability called Earthen Brutality, which is an uninterruptible stun. It also seems to have an incredibly low cooldown. If there's more than one in a group that you pull, there is a very high chance you will be stunlocked, and therefore killed fairly easily.

EDIT: Looks like they changed this ability to be interruptible in 10.0.5. Still, it's something to look out for.

Out in the ocean on an island, at 24.5, 70.8 there's a whole group of Iskaaran kids hanging out, riding sleds and stuff. (You can buy two toys out there!)

However, there's a flavor text when you talk to the "Eldest" child... You ask where there parents are and he responds:

"At home in Iskaara, of course.

We come out here to play whenever the adults complain we're too loud.

Well, then there's Iki and Pata. They're from Imbu. I hope their parents are okay."

THEIR PARENTS ARE NOT OKAY. Blizz can be dark. lol

Do yourself a favor and complete this quest by killing the Primalsworn Furblogs in the south east of the quest area and not the stun locking grouped npcs with pathing elites around them.

If you want to potentially make your life a little easier when doing this quest, there is an event you can do, provided no one else has done it recently, that walks you directly though the quest area and by the time the event is done, you will most likely have completed 'For Imbu!'.

The event is lead by an NPC called The Blubberwall. He's located at /way 60.5, 66.03. The event this NPC starts will take you to kill Gethdazr. He's one of those Non-Rare NPCs that acts like a rare. When you interact with The Blubberwall, you will see a dialog option listed as "<Ask The Blubberwall to join in the action.>". Click this. He will then return text that pretty much says "I'm not going to do anything until there's reinforcements and to get reinforcements, a big 'ol horn needs to be blown over their yonder."

This is your queue to go blow that big 'ol horn (a.k.a. Great Horn of Imbu). This horn is located /way 58.99 67.11. To blow this horn, you will need to kill the Enraged Air Elemental next to it. If it's not there, you will need to wait till it respawns, which can take a bit since it has about an hour spawn time from the last time it was killed.

DISCLAMER: This may be a deal breaker for some since by the time the elemental spawns, you probably could have this quest done and over with anyway, and you're not wrong here. This event, however, can be useful to those who may have trouble finding groups and or having issues staying alive. This event takes you through the part of the area where there are very little elite mobs, and the friendly NPCs will do the tanking for you.

Once the horn is blown, The Blubberwall and his group of friendlies will then start moving southwest, following the dirt trail past the little stream, which then wraps around to the west, and eventually reach a little alcove (this is marked by a fallen tree at /way 56.49, 70.24) with three little beds. This is where you fight Gethdazr.

NOTE: Ensure The Blubberwall and his friendlies stay alive. If they don't, the event will end as a failure and you'll have to wait about an hour before you can start it again (remember the elemental I spoke of earlier?)

am i missing something here? i just got my a$$ handed to me twice on my rogue and almost had to rez at the gy because i was unable to stealth or vanish and there isn't any icon on the world map and i'm not seeing any sort of debuff, i can enter Imbu stealthed but both talents are greyed out and unusable when out of stealth once i'm in there.

Take care when you are doing this WQ. Reward can change before you end the WQ. I was promised 823g for the WQ completion but before I finished it, the reward changed to some green gloves. I destroyed the gloves out of rage.

Is this quest bugged? I have WM on and it says on the map this is to give 827g +10% for WM, i've completed it on 3 toons and it keeps giving me a green item.
