How do we start this quest

I received the Recovered Containment Pack today after killing the Oily Invertebrate. I was level 60 and have Bastion as my covenant. Others who killed it with me did not receive it (two kills, around 10 players total - I got it on my first kill of the day).

(Here is my armoury where you can see it's transmogged, showing I do have it.)

Killing Margrave Stradama in Mythic+ does not award completion as of 24/12/2020. Killing on normal difficulty works and it doesn't appear to show where to hand it in on the map in Maldraxxus but it's Boil Master Yetch /way 59.12, 73.83

The pack is a drop from Oily Invertebrate at the (Mixed Monstrosities) slime pools in Maldraxxus and although I happen to be a Necrolord it doesn't matter which Covenant you are in order to obtain the pack.

Oily Invertebrate is the mob you need to summon

To summon Oily Invertebrate you need a total of 30 oils on Pool of Mixed Monstrosities in the following proportions:
10x Viscous Oil 10x Mephitic Goo 10x Miscible Ooze. (10 of each color)

Viscous Oil drop from Burning Extract and Colossal Plasma. Around /way 60,0, 76,0
Miscible Ooze drop from Diseased Remnant and Infectious Monstrosity. Around /way 57,8, 65,6
Mephitic Goo drop from Colossal Goo and Prodigious Animate. Around /way 61,2, 79,0

The turn in is to Boil Master Yetch at the pools

Any idea why I wouldn't be able to turn it in? Killed all the slimes... killed Stradama... Yetch is marked on my map with a larger marker and has the yellow question mark. But he will not interact with me at all.

This quest item drops from the Oily Invertebrate from the Mixed Monstrosities pool at Plaguewatch in Maldraxxus.

To spawn the Oily Invertebrate, you'll need to put 10 red, 10 yellow, and 10 blue slimes into the pool.

Once the quest item drops, you'll be asked to kill various slimes across the Shadowlands.

Maldraxxus:

Volatile Jelly can be found in the uninstanced version of the Plaguefall dungeon.
If you're unfamiliar with getting there, you'll need to head to 59.7, 71.2 at Plaguewatch and talk to Pandemis who will give you a mask that grants you a Personal Air Filtration buff to survive the caustic fog. Then use the portal pad next to him and head to around 70.4, 72.9 to find the Jellies.

Constructed Ooze can be found in the Stitchyard (Northwest corner of Maldraxxus) in the House of Constructs. Specifically search in the "waters" around the area.

Bubbling Sclerosis can be found in the uninstanced version of the Theater of Pain dungeon. They'll be around the edges of the arena inside.

Bubbleblood can be found at 52.5, 35.4. This is a beefy rare that can be difficult to solo and may not always be up.

Bastion:

Necrotic Droplet can be found near the entrance to the Necrotic Wake dungeon in Bastion. Hang a left or right down the stairs on either side of the dungeon entrance and look around for the green pools of slime.

Bubbling Purity can be found at 57.1, 77.1 in Bastion.

Revendreth:

Primordial Sludge can be found all around 35.5, 32.7 in Revendreth.

Congealed Ash is an elite mob that can be found at 25.6, 55.2 in Revendreth.

The Maw:

Resonant Misery can be found all throughout the River of Souls in the Maw. If you're not familiar, it's the place in the Maw that's bright as all hell and very, very white.

Dungeon:

The last part of the quest is to simply kill the last boss of Plaguefall, Margrave Stradama. This appears to be able to be done on any difficulty. Although, I'm not entirely sure if it can be done via a mythic+ run.

A level 51 DK alt in my group just got the Recovered Containment Pack and the quest was auto-accepted despite saying it required level 60.

So after going through this annoying Slime Pool design and killing Oily Invertebrate a jillion times, I still have to do this big quest?
