Anyone know how to get the disguise back once I've turned in "A Fitting Guise" and accepted "The Pupil Returns"? Abandoning The pupil returns and re-accepting it does nothing, and going back to the location of "A Fitting Guise" yields no results. There is nothing for me to interact with around the stone circle anymore either.

"Oh just one small note. That acolyte you've just wantonly slain also happens to be the favorite consort of Margrave Sin'dane." I didn't really figure for Lich's having consorts ...what is their purpose? To sit beside the Margrave and look pretty.?

If you've just picked up this quest, and you lose your disguise, here are some (hopefully) helpful tips:

The disguise eventually becomes a toy. You may want to look for it in your toybox, particularly if you've already finished this campaign on another character. Since it starts with "A", it should be one of the first toys listed.

The disguise can be a special action button that pops up in the bottom/middle of your screen. You might have other abilities that need to be used first, since only one button will show.

Each phase of the quest usually has a non-storyline subquest that you can get, which gives you an item that will provide an alternate appearance for the disguise. As you do them, SAVE THE ITEMS, don't click on them. Later, if you lose the disguise, clicking on them will both give you the alternate appearance AND reapply the disguise.

When I first received it from the corpse in the ritual circle, I lost it almost immediately after mining a mineral node. The corpse had disappeared, and I couldn't figure out how to get it back. I dropped the quest, the corpse reappeared, I accepted the quest again, and I was able to click on the corpse to reacquire the disguise.

A Fitting Guise

Meet Balmedar in the Hall of Blades at the House of Rituals.

Description

The ritual to complete your disguise should be quite simple with the assistance of my oculus. Even a <class> like you should be able to manage it. When you are ready, simply hold the empowered crystal above Nelesis's corpse. My oculus will do the rest.
