In the moth disguise, you must find Dread Rose Bush. After clicking you should get an extra action button, which you can use near a Fallen Sylvar to enrage them. Non-agressive spells may not break the moth costume (resurrection for sure doesn't).

Currently on beta the Dread Rose Bushes have no outline and can be very difficult to spot. They are small, black, and have a fiery glowing aura. They can only be looted by one player at a time.

The hunters' detection range seems to be less than 10 yards, but beware that the slow fall built into the costume can easily put you too deep into their targeting circle to escape. When you leave combat, either by leashing mobs or killing the, the costume should be automatically reapplied.

If there is a lot of players around it can be almost easier to just camp one spawn point and just go back and forth after gathering pollen. Either way this is a very slow quest.

One frustrating WQ. (Sorry to post a negative, most quests are enjoyable and rewarding).

So many players for so few quest mobs. If a player beats you to a mob, there is no way to get ahead of them, they will just lead the way picking off each quest mob as they go. Ended up just camping one spot and waiting for the mob to respawn over and over.

Hardly 'enjoyable' and not a good use of precious game time.

One to skip in future.

In moth form, locate the glowing Dread Rose Bush to acquire pollen. Once you have the pollen, navigate the grove to search for Fallen Sylvar to use the pollen on. These are not the ones that have the circle around them. If you're in a party, the objectives count for all members, so it's easier and quicker to do it as a group; however, if a non-party member gets to a Fallen Sylvar before you do, it will disappear temporarily. A pretty annoying quest when the zone is full of other people doing it at the same time. If you can locate the underground tunnel in the quest area, you can find 2-3 of the Fallen Sylvar in there.

Take the disguise from Amberfoot
It will turn you into a Fae with an ability to enrage Fallen Sylvar
To charge the ability collect Dread Rose Bush in the area.
To enrage Fallen Sylvar come close and use the ability.
You can find 2 Fallen Sylvar inside of the cave.

Hi all

On This WQ You need to at first speak with Amberfoot 70 32 to transform then after:

- Pick up 6 Dread Rose Bush then you can use spell on your extra bar and use it next to Fallen Sylvar to Enraged ( do it to 6 of them ).

If you don't see the bushes needed for the pollen, you probably have run into a phasing problem. Finishing the optional quest line in the area helps resolving this.

You need to hit the Fallen Sylvars, not the Masked. The Falled ones are bigger than the rest and standing in a black pool. I'm uploading a screen shot.

Honestly, it's probably not worth the time to do it.
The mobs that you need are very few and have long respawns.

It'd be okay if it was phased so you could only see your own mobs, but having to compete with everyone for one mob is terrible.

This is the worst World Quest in Shadowlands... it's tedious, boring, non-productive, inconsequential and poorly designed (run forwards down tunnel, begin falling as it's steep, no control because falling, trigger mob, run away). Fortunately SL is fantastic and I'll gladly overlook this terrible WQ.

These rose bushes don't seem to appear at all for me. Trying to do this in Threads of Fate at level 57. Maybe that's the issue?

I feel like Blizzard sometimes forgets that their game is an mmo, real pain in the ass to do this quest if more than a few people are trying to do it at the time.

Word of advice. Make sure you are pretty close to the Fallen Sylvers so you don't burn a hard-to-find rose bush for pollen. Found this out the hard way after spending close to an hour finding the last and final rose bush.

Whilre you're doing this quest you still can use your ghost wolf form, or blinks/leaps/sprints to speed things up!

Every time I went to a Fallen Sylvar and clicked the button, it said "you can't do that right now". I wasn't in combat. I've done this quest before. Gave up after it doing that on 3 different Fallen.

This quest is absolute garbage. Need 1 item per Fallen Sylvar and if you misclick and even ATTEMPT it you lose the item and have to go find another. Mobs that see through stealth overlap and don't move. Meanwhile other players are competing for same objective/target. Absolute trash design and transparent filler content by Blizzard to waste our time.

I discovered by accident that additional keybinds will still function while disguised. As a night fae hunter, I was able to use Disengage, Aspect of the Cheetah, and Soulshape to zoom around even faster.

Gather up 6 pollen. Find an area where you know they spawn, and just kill one and sit there to wait for the next to spawn... it doesn't take that long.

Two big tips:

1. The roses stack - but that's not obvious - so pick as many as you can before you start earnestly trying to use them. Unfortunately, they're not sparkly enough for me to spot easily, so I collected the locations of all the roses I've found.

2. The Fallen Sylvar reappear fairly quickly in the same locations, so if you pick all your roses ahead of time, find a spot between a couple Sylvars and go back and forth.

FINALLY, may I suggest the add-on NOTES? I have a separate note for all 5 current Shadowlands zones. In those, I store coordinates of important quest details, including the TomTom coordinates I listed above. (For other Ardenweald quests, I keep info on locations of objects like night lilies, anima-infused silk, or thistledew drops for both World Quests and covenant quests.) My note about the Queen's Conservatory lists what rewards come from which setups, how to quickly make a bunch of catalysts, etc. I'm a pet collector, so I have a separate note for pets I occasionally camp for. I even have a note of common phrases I like to say in trade chat or out loud so that I can just copy/paste them instead of typing them every time, which is too slow for me. It's a great app. :)

So, I patently enjoyed this world quest, but it's yet another example of Blizzard forgetting that multiple people play their game at the same time. The stealth mechanics and stealth-seering pathing world quest objectives are fine, but the NPCs you have to enrage are shared amongst everyone in there area. Only one person can enrage each NPC, and while their respawn isn't atrocious, it's also not spectacular. Doing this quest with a number of other people in the area becomes a lesson in frustration, as you carefully weave your way to an NPC, only to see someone else enrage it right before you got there. If you do it on a quiet server or during quiet hours, on the other hand, it's very easy and fast.

Of note is that there are at least two Silvar spawns down in the central cave, which others often overlook. Also note that your little moth has permanent slowfall active, which can make certain jumps possible that you wouldn't expect to be.

The enraged NPCs are just not even spawning anymore, the zone is completely barren, cool quest blizzard.

This is one of those quests where too many players are doing it at the same time and it takes longer than it should to complete. Sometimes you're better off just collecting a bunch of pollen and waiting for the same guy to respawn. They respawn fairly quickly for me, like maybe a minute or so.

There are some quests in Shadowlands that don't have enough phasing, meaning there's way too many players on it. With that in mind, for this one, the best thing to do is collect all your pollen and just wait by one guy for him to respawn. It's quicker that way.

If you lose your disguise, look for a small tree with a faint glowing circle on the ground around it. If you run into the glowing part, you will get your moth disguise back. No need to run back to Amberfoot.

Druids can use flight form while transformed into a moth which lets you cheese the whole quest.

My druid is able to use flight form with the disguise. Unknown if intended. Makes this quest stupidly simple and no longer painful!

This quest is terrible.

You are a moth that can't actually fly, but sort of just limps around near the ground %^&ping occassionally like a wounded seagull. You get stuck on every dranch, twig and bramble in the area. You are supposed to remain stealthed, which is fun given there are so many "I see you" mobs crammed into this laughable small quest zone that you spend most of yuor time waiting around for them to move - and if you have the buff needed to do the quest, it's a 5min despawn.

The mobs you are supposed to "dust" are few, and far between - and have terrible long respawn timers. If someone else is doing this quest, or has done this quest just before you arrived, you'll be looking around for them for ages.

All told, best avoided unless the reward is something you really want/need

Get your disguise. Skip the pollen and just attack them like you would anything else. You'll pop in and out of disguise as you fight, but you still get kill credit.
