So this isn't auto accept? or even in the game. Prepatch guide says this is in week one? What gives.

Prepatch first day is literally just more Barber %^&* added. Cool. Cya at release in 5 years.

wasn't this quest supposed to show up on pre-patch day?

odd that so few people are questioning this.

and wowhead weekly update probably would have been better served by correcting their pre-patch guide and reporting that the quest is not available on pre-patch day instead of the "unboxing shadowlands" episode.

EDIT: As of today (10Nov2020) the quest is available upon login as auto accept.

Just signed in (27Oct2020) and no auto quest for me yet for either alliance or horde. Reply if anyone got it otherwise vote up if you did not yet.

The Death's Rising pre-patch event is now live on NA servers!
You can start the quest series from An Urgent Request in Stormwind or An Urgent Request in Orgrimmar. Or, you can head directly to Eastern Plaguelands to kill the new world boss for ilvl 115 loot.
During this event, you can participate in Zombie Invasions, farm catch-up gear for alts, defeat rares in Icecrown, and complete a special quest to learn more about the story leading up to the Shadowlands.

So apparently you need to be level 50 for the quest to trigger, bummer I wanted to do it and level, at least leveling goes pretty fast.

Specifically SW/ORG someone said you can head to ICC directly but can't accept the quests until level 50.

I did a test on a alt to delete the quest. No solution if u accidently deleted the quest. nowhere to accept this quest again!

A GM had confirmed that this quest, “An Urgent Request” was part of the Shadowlands pre-patch event and is no longer available.
