A Mask of Bwonsamdi will show up in the Heart of the Forest and give you the quest. You may have to relog.

Reached renown 8 and there was no quest... all I needed to do was Relog and a Mask of Bwonsamdi appeared :) FYI incase anyone has the same issue!

To get the mask to spawn you need to walk out of the heart of the forest. Relogging or flying out and back should work too though.

When you use the stone it'll port you into a special instance of De Other Side.

All you need to do is have a short conversation with Bwonsamdi and then port out again, you won't be able to move from the spot where you spawned in.

Speak with Bwonsamdi to exit the instance.

Upon exit, I found myself outside the entrance to De Other Side, and not where I'd used the stone. Thought that was worth a mention.

A word of warning. Don't pick up this quest until you are ready to do the entire series. Why? Because that mask will be following you around and blocking your view until you do. Just leave the quest sitting there untaken until you finish what else you wanted to do before doing that series.

Also, if you are a hunter make sure you have spots to tame a couple of pets if you want the cobras.

Everything says rank 8 is needed...
Have logged out/game restarted and hearthstone, flight point or run myself in and out of the Heart of the Forest zone multiple times...

No mask of ol' bwonsamdi is showing up :(

Any tips anyone?

Update: figured it out, you need Renown rank 8 PLUS be on Night Fae campaign chapter 4. I went and did more "main quest lines" and eventually the mask shown up in the Heart of the Forest.

I hate stuff like this when they give you a quest, then another quest that's in a totally different spot plus something is following you around until you start that other quest! Ugh!

I am stuck. I accepted the quest, went to the other side it ported me out once i turned in and now i have no quest to continue the storyline. Im renown 29 now and still nothing

ok so to fix the quest not showing bug i quest sync with a char on the quest before the da boss quest line and it seemed to work ( you have to stay level sync till da boss quest line is finished once done it seemed to have fixed my bugged campaign

ok i got into the other side but then when i teleported out it didnt give me credit and brought me to the dungeon i abandon the quest how do i get it back im clueless and cant move up anymore

managed to do this quest easy enough i but didn't take the quests inside the phased dungeon log was full thought i would come back another time bah, now i have Mask of Bwonsamdi following me around the option to go back by clicking on "Take me to the other side" is bugged and has been for weeks judging posts on the US WOW Forums.

this means i cant pick up the taking inventory quest and continue the night fae campaign I'm stuck and unable to progress the GM ticket time is currently 9 days :(

update: managed to get this resolved by finally speaking to a GM in game today who kindly ported me inside the phased dungeon so i could pick up the quest.

This quest provides a Deathstone that allows for instant teleport to the entrance of DOS with no cooldown.

This teleports you inside DOS to talk to Bwonsamdi. You talk to him without turning in the quest and click "return to Ardenweald" and you're transported directly outside the entrance of DOS.

There's no cooldown on this item. It can be used from just about anywhere and the cast time is 1.0s. I haven't tried it in battlegrounds, arenas, or raid content yet, but I assume it will work. At least until Blizzard fixes it.
