Forget about walking all the way to Huln Highmountain (at 24.56, 48.95) with that bush effect (Reldorn's Glamour) on you. You'll be able to turn in the quest without it just fine.

THERE IS NO POINT TO THE BUSH.
I mounted and ran there. no mobs attacked me and i turned in the quest which would have taken it off anyway.... right?

Whoever designed this part of the quest doesn't play WoW. There is no other explanation.

The whole way as I was walking I'm thinking, "this thing is useless, I should just stealth". Turns out that would work too, the bush is just a fun story element.

The bush is irrelevant. Having it or otherwise makes no difference to the hand-in. I'm not even sure if it has any effect - the fact that he warns you not to get too close to things suggests maybe not. If you're in a rush, ignore the whole thing.
If you're not, however, enjoy wondering around in a terrible bush disguise and contemplating the worthiness of a Reldorn/Huln ship. Or a Reldorn/Lord Herne ship? Whoever you think he wants you to put a good word in with. I mean, sure, maybe he just wants to be promoted. But maybe he's hoping his "skills" at disguise will net him the eye of someone he's keen on ;)

Why, look at that! Herbing on the slow sneak to Huln while dressed as a bush breaks the glamour. Guess I'll have to sneakykitty back past the Mushroom Ring I just came from.

Shapeshifting as a druid removes the bush glamour. Is there anything that doesn't? Thankfully, we can just stealth, but hey! Worth saying.

On that note, I'm not gonna be putting in a good word for Reldorn. Sorry, bud.

Everything you do short of walking the entire way removes the "disguise" with no way to get it back other than to go back, drop the quest, and retake it.

Speed up - lose the bush
Mount up - lose the bush
Call a pet - lose the bush
Tell a Murloc joke - lose the bush
Dance a jig - lost the bush
Look sideway - lose the bush
Put on Netflix - lose the bush
Grab a coffee - lose the bush

Basically pretty much anything.

This is the most useless story element ever.

The bush is pointless. You can just as easily mount up and just ride back to Huln however you please.

I literally didn't even have my hands on the keyboard while I let him cast it on me and it immediately fell off so I was extremely confused. Luckily I could run to Huln without issue.

This seems entirely worthless. As soon as I move at all it disappears. It dropped as soon as I started running, so I turned on walk mode and got it again. And it dropped as soon as I started walking. I couldn't get it to stay active for more than few seconds with any activity other than standing still... 800 yards away from the turnin.

The beauty of this is that after you kill Voras, Huln flies off without offering you a lift so you gotta hoof it out of there without the dubious benefit of the bush disguise that supposedly let you pass safely on your way in. Sorry, Reldorn, I'll take my chances mounted up.

People are taking the bush thing way too seriously as a gameplay element and not seeing it in different perspectives. Reldorn is still a rookie in comparison to his peers, so his inventions and strategies are going to be seemingly poor quality, useless, or have way too many downsides to be worth the trouble. That's the point. It's a story element. I personally thought it was good storytelling that shows Reldorn's inexperience, and if you walked all the way to Huln while trying to maintain the disguise, then that's your fault for not reading the objective of the quest which is to simply travel to an NPC just like any other "Go here" quest in the game; it makes no mention of maintaining the disguise.

It works in shaman ghost wolf form and you move at double speed. If you get the bush in your racial form and then go ghost wolf you'll lose it. I went back in ghost wolf form to get the replacement. So no idea if you can actualy accept the quest as ghost wolf and get it (but I'd assume so).

Description

<Reldorn grins at you.> He knew you'd be back! The Horned Hunter went on ahead to prepare the hunting ground. He said you should join him as soon as you can. Now that you have the materials for the trap, you just need to reach him... It's dangerous territory to traverse, but I've been devising a glamour that should help you avoid the attention of the roaming beasts. Maybe if it's useful, you could put in a good word for... Ahem. Anyway, we should focus on your quarry. Good hunting, friend.
