Was WM off and General Draven disappeared the moment I stepped on the bridge, deeming the quest incompletable. I went WM on and returned, initially the same thing happened but after I spent some time doing other stuff like Torghast, General Draven stopped phasing out and completed it.

I too lost General Draven as soon as I started running across the bridge, on foot as required. I went back a bit, and he reappeared, so during Beta it might just be a bit buggy. If you go slow enough he should appear again, so I don't think you have to just walk.

However, about halfway across an elite shows up, and she's kind of tough. Before she dies, she disappeared. When I got near the end of the bridge, there was a gauntlet of elites. I thought I had to kill every one of them, and silly me actually started doing that. Got most of them, until toward the end of the group, when they were just too high health to beat. As it turns out, I was able to walk by the remainder without aggroing them, and talk to the required NPC. You probably don't have to fight any of them at all, just the one who shows up in the middle of the bridge.

once you are at the bridge full of enemies, you can walk straight up to the neutral npc without fighting any of them

Do not be a dumbass like me and try to fight. I died like 4 times on that bridge.

Mount up, and run forward. When big "boss" spawns, keep running forward. When you see a LOT of hostile enemies down below, DO NOT ATTACK THEM just keep running forward. Talk to npc, complete quest.

If you mount up and run through them, they may attack and even dismount you but keep going. They seem to have some real short leash if you don't attack and will stop.

The boss type mob in the circular area, just run around her keeping to the outside.

Edit: I typed all the above and on the way back two of them attacked me, dismounted me (even though I have the barding that's not supposed to allow it( and didn't stop and killed me. So I'm not really sure wtf is
going on here. Maybe you're not supposed to go back that way, there is a platform that goes down right near her.

As a Priest I managed to Mind Soothe every creature on the Bridge, along side with First Talon Syndaal and just walked past everyone with ease. Didn't use a mount just in case Mr Draven decides to leave

If you're like me and rode around all of Castle Nathria to find the turn in, make sure you take a left from the flight path. There will be an elevator in the court around /way 42, 46.

ilvl 182 warlock. Walked accross the bridge. Total of 5 enemies. I attacked one at a time on each side. The last bit after the 1 117k boss you just walk down the ramp and turn it in. Do NOT attack anything.

Once you have flying, you can just fly over the bridge (which is good because the enemies on it are now aggressive), and then land right at the Stonewright.

Read this info after finishing it.

If you do fancy a bit of fighting here, try to stick to one side of the bridge so you only aggro one mob at a time.

Kinda wish I'd read some of the other posts here first though! :)

Description

We walk in the winged shadows of my brothers and sisters in arms, Stoneborn I have trained since they were first carved from stone. This is an ancient rite. If we cross this bridge on foot, defeating any who would dare stop us, we may have an audience with the mother of the stoneborn. However, know that our safe return is not guaranteed, so try not to offend her. I do not look forward to this.
