well that was incedibly dumb.... we could have told Kleia right from the start what would happen. not to mention the last bit where we listen to her ask Adrestes why they keep doing it and then just say "oh ok *!@# it" and leave.

If you are having issues using the Vesper from the quest panel.
Just use it from your bag.

I took a summon to an instance after using the Vesper of Veilflight. Didnt land in Oribos first and cant complete it now. Any ideas other than doing it all over?

If you accidentally get logged out, server shuts down, game crashes etc during this cut scene you DO NOT HAVE TO REDO THE QUEST.

Instead, return to Stormwind and fly over to the Redridge mountains again. Talk to Alithea at 32.63, 39.89 and select "I must return to the scenario." She'll zone you back into the spirit realm and you can click your item to go back to Oribos.

I swear this expansion has more plot holes than your average piece of Swiss Cheese. Everyone doesn't know the Arbiter isn't judging by this point?

Edit: Actually when you finish up the Bastion Covenant story and (I believe) at the very last point where everyone is gathered. If you talk to the right NPC they will tell you that they were not telling everyone that the Arbiter was not judging on purpose. So if you're REALLY diligent and talk to all the NPC's that you can communicate with you can find something that will fill in this plot hole! :)

Oh, man. These guys aren't just lazy or ignorant, which would be bad enough - they're actively evil. Bastion is NOT a good covenant. I mean, this is the textbook definition of "I'm just following orders."

I don't think a quest as more illustrated how crap the play characters agency is in the story. This !@#$% is only now figuring out the arbiter isn't working, despite our player characters having witnessed all this, and could have told them, but instead they took an innocent mans soul from at least the comfort of being near his family in death, and cast him into eternal torment.

And her reaction was "Oh.. oh well"

This is sociopathic at best, which says a lot about the writing team.

When you arrive flying around Oribos, you can actually see Ben being yeeted into the Maw if you look down asap.

I used the Vesper in my bag and it turned into a transmog station... so I ran around looking for a bell. When the transmog station disappeared I used the Vesper again and a kyrian came to fly me to Oribos...

Very dumb quest that perfectly showcases how even though they make our characters central plot figures, we actually have incredibly little agency. Learning that the Arbiter was not functioning was among the first things we learned in this expansion. This was easily preventable. But no, our characters are never given the chance to warn anyone involved otherwise.

I wonder if the structure of the Shadowlands story originally had this occur much earlier, but then they reshuffled things around without bothering to change the content of this.

The Kyrians and especially the Archon should have been sent to the Maw with Sylvanas to rescue the souls they helped damn.
Honestly the Kyrians are responsible for more souls being damned than Sylvanas who only damned souls on Azeroth. Meanwhile the Kyrians are responsible for the damnation of the souls of everyone in the universe who died during that period because they couldn't be assed to be like "Hey maybe we should NOT send souls to an unjust damnation and further fuel the Jailor's armies while we sort this out"

Where a Soul Belongs

Use the Vesper of Veilflight to travel to Oribos, then witness Ben Howell's judgment.

	Arrive in Oribos (1)
	Talk to Kleia (1)

	Vesper of Veilflight (1)

Description

This soul is no longer tethered to his world of Azeroth. Kleia must perform her duty and bear him to Oribos to be judged by the Arbiter. Take this vesper. When you are ready, it will call Ascended to ferry you back across the Veil to Oribos. Go in service.
