Wastewander Supplies can be found in infested caches (chests on minimap) around uldum.

Despite only being marked on the left side of the map you can loot caches on the right too and get credit for the quest. The chest are the regular caches and are marked on your minimap.

It's like a joke, there are like 3 chests in uldum and when this daily quest appears everyone is going for them.. I'm just flying around for like a hour wasting my time on this.. Chests mostly appear on the left and right side of Uldum so good luck with it.

using a mod, HandyNotes shows me that certain chests share the same id in an area. so once looted all remaining chests marked in handynotes in that particular area disapear (like 4-5 or so).

this means once looted head off to another place.

handynotes plugin of same author never proved to be wrong for me. author Zarillion; HandyNotes: Visions of N'Zoth.

If you're a casual not interested in maxing out your progress, you may want to consider ignoring this quest as not being worth the time invested in it.

Look for the treasure chest icon on your mini-map. They seem to all be in or around buildings, like temples or statues.

Found one at 46.10, 59.11 and another one at 36.87, 16.19 and the last one at 43.03, 36.40. Took no more than five minutes.

The spawn rate for these chests needs tweaking, both how many are up at one time and how long they take to respawn. This just takes too much time to complete as it stands. It's not like the chests hold fantastic loot that needs to be kept to a minimum.

Tom Tom doesn't work for me in any of the new zones. I found a chest in Tracker Samara's tent.

I'm sure this is deliberate resource-starvation, the intent is to get us to be wandering around Uldum for a lot longer than is needed, makes the wow metrics look great. Stuff this quest, go play something more interesting instead.

Spawns still way too low as of 2.16.19 - don't bother with this quest, it's a waste of time.

Can confirm, when there are no people in the zone spawn rate is like !@#$ and you can be stuck with 30-60min flying around

It's got to be bugged at this point. I've been flying around for well over an hour and haven't found a single one. I've got RareScanner running. I'm flying to the coordinates in the comments... and not a single one has popped up on my mini map. Ridiculous.

These caches are not in plain sight, so if the below list doesn't hive you a Completion don't blame me if you try to find it in the open desert :D

My list so far to achieve a completion of this quest, if and when i found new ones - i will add it.

Use Paste addon, and then copy paste the whole list.

A cache despaired when i was typing this, so if you still haven't completed this quest, after doing all the waypoints - try to start all over.

List is for the assault to the west of Ramkahen - haven't done it to the east if the quest is on that side as well.

Really, really appalling implementation of this quest, you do have to wonder what the QA department is doing.

Try switch from or to War Mode, if you can't find a chest. This Solved the issue for me in literally 1min after flying around for 1hr.

Using fureeous's waypoint guide, I got this done in less than 30 min. It's possible, folks!

Instant abandon after using Fureeous's waypoints when I found a chest that required an aqir relic to open, I only had 2 of 6 fragments.
Someone at blizzard was mighty pissed of at the player base with this expansion lol

It's not as bad as people make it out to be. But i admit they're not so easily found that you can find three of 'em while doing the other quests. I didn't want to abandon though, so when i was done i just flew around and looked in places where i thought i was likely to encounter them, which was near buildings and such, and found the rest in little time. It didn't bother me one bit since in the meantime i was enjoying the scenery and zone music.

Description

The invading aqir forced the Wastewanders to flee many of our settlements in Uldum. In our haste to escape, much was left behind. I understand you intend to take the fight to the beasts. While you're there, could you keep an eye out for any of the supplies we had to leave behind? You can keep anything of use to you, of course.
