To complete the quest you need to defeat mechanical mobs within The Eternal Forge area.
As you collect Tainted Centurion Component (either one or some), get to the fogre in the center of area.
Use all of your Tainted Centurion Component to purify them into Purified Metal. Repeat until get enough.

Hi all

I present Phaestus, Genesis of Aeons. Full Storyline have 9 quests. This is a part of . If on quest 2-4 You will not see Mikanikos just close game ( i hade this twice /reload di not help ).

As well you will get Phalynx of Courage from last Quest in this Storyline.

If the quest chain ends for you at this point - relog. Sika will appear and you can take follow up quests.

Blizz really needs to fix the spawn rate for this one: there aren't nearly enough mobs to go around for both Horde and Alliance, even when there aren't many people on the server.

To all my PVP or WM ON brothers, having this enabled caused me to not see the quest. I know. I know.

Go west to Sagehaven (flight path)
Fly to Elysian Hold
Turn off WM
Yeet off northern edge and goblin glider back down or fly back
and you'll see the quest now and pick it up.

Refining Ego

Collect 8 Purified Metal by collecting Tainted Centurion Components from centurion units and smelting them down at the Eternal Forge.

Description

I will locate Phaestus. In the meantime, task for you! The Forsworn use my forge to make their centurion army. Their vile intentions warp the metals we use! Destroy their centurions, take their parts. Smelt them down in the forge to purify the metals, then return to me. I need much metal for my plan.
