Lord Chamberlain is the final boss on the Halls of Atonement, i complete this quest on normal mode.

Trying to complete the side quests in Revendreth, but for some reason cannot get this one and thus cannot complete "The Final Atonement" part. Archivist fane only has repeatable quests for inquisitor sinstones available. Any ideas?

Edit: This was fixed on the 1st of December 2020.

The Final Atonement step is complete once you complete Halls of Atonement: Your Absolution. Killing Lord Chamberlain is the last step of the Sojourner of Ravendreth.

Start of Chain: The Accuser

Location: Varies...

- Done with main story? She's at the Halls of Atonement (71.78, 40.37) down the stairs next to the flight path.
- Not done with the main story yet? Try Sinfall. She moves with the main story.

If you cannot find her, then its best to keep progressing through the main story until you either run into her again or finish the main storyline. Once you finish, she'll be at the HoA inn.

Still bugged for me, Im alliance and cant complete done all the questline, nothing outstanding, only ones i can pick up are the repeatable ones. has anyone managed to resolve this issue yet? preventing loremaster for a lot of us by the sounds of it.

Full script to verify that you have completed the pre-cursor quests and are impacted by the bug:

If the response is "true", you got the bug.

Blizzard claimed to have fixed it, but it's still broken.

Perhaps unrelated to the bug, but I also can't get The Avowed rep from mobs around this area (great when trying to grind rep to make cauldrons).

I am the one, who found the way to do this quest with the current bug. Like you i joined Venthyr covenant BEFORE finishing this quest. Solution- 1) You need to group with any player, who has not finished this quest YET. 2) You need synchronization with him. to do this questline again. 3) You take a new quest from the NPC The Accuser and you do the whole questline again. 4) After killiing the Inquisitor you finally can take a new quest to dungeon. Good luck

I am also still experiencing the bug, and have submitted a bug report. Picking up the quest seems to be tied to the optional quest "Our Forgotten Purpose"

I did not do this quest as I was going through the story, I didn't even see it to be honest, so I cannot do it either to unlock the Absolution quest.

Last night a guildie of mine tried and successfully executed a workaround for Venthyr players not being able to get this quest and finish Sojourner of Revendreth. I intend to do the same, but I still have to do the rest of the chain.

The likely cause is that this quest and Halls of Atonement: Medallion of Pride are mutually exclusive and only this quest completes the achievement. This is wrong in a few ways: Halls of Atonement: Medallion of Pride only appears for Venthyr in Sinfall, there's no real reason for the quests to be mutually exclusive, and it doesn't even seem to not be the true conclusion of the chain (if I'm to believe the Wowhead quest chain).

The workaround: party up with a level 60 non-Venthyr that is on this quest (if they haven't done anything of this chain you'll have to do it all again). Essentially you'll have to ask friends around if they've already done this quest and if not, ask if they go and get it. Because they are eligible to get it, so are you once the Party Sync is activated; even though the two Atonement quests are exclusive, you can pick up this quest, finish it, and finish Sojourner. I did not screenshot it, but he got this, Sojourner, SL Loremaster and Loremaster from this action.

This is all besides the point that developers should tick off a different part of the Final Atonement chain as last part, or perhaps add a closure quest that is not mutually exclusive with another quest.

For anyone still frustrated by this being bugged and Archivist Fane not having this quest available, I rectified it today by joining a couple of friends who were levelling alts in Revendreth - I joined their group and enabled party sync which allowed me to re-do the quest chain with them without the conflict from being Venthyr that occurred the first time.

This 100% is the fix, I would recommend this instead of just praying Fane magically gains the quest icon over his head like I've been doing for the past few days!

30.11 21 CEt - i was just standing there while queuing dungeons and the quest popped up. It is hotfixed now and available :)

As of 30th November, 21:30 GMT+1, I was able to take the quest, even though it was still bugged for me after the 27th patch. So I assume this is fixed

I just picked up the quest from Archivist Fane about 10 minutes ago as of the time of this post. I am currently Neutral with the Avowed, so Friendly is not required. I've already completed Halls of Atonement on Mythic, and I've completed all the campaign achievement in the zone and all other optional storylines (including Revelations of the Light), so I'm not sure which criteria I've met that allowed me to pick this up.

It doesn't seem to be bugged anymore, but rather maybe we are just lacking correct information on prerequisites.

I completed all quests up to this point, and like others for 2 days I could not pick the next one (Halls of Atonement: Your Absolution).

However today when I flew at the Halls of Atonement flight path, I saw a quest from the crypt below. I was given this Stop the Inquisition which led me back to killing mobs around the area of Inquisitor Fane for sinstones. One of his dailies to trade 100 sinstones for an Inquisitor Sinstone also completed part of the quest that led me back to him.

This time he gives the follow-up quest to kill Lord Chamberlain.

One thing I have noticed with the maps, it is not showing me available quests anymore. In trying to complete the Sojourner of Revendreth, I had to look up the achievement requirements and back track the quests and location of the quest givers via Wowhead.

I was stuck on this as Venthyr. My friend as a Night Fae could pick up the quest, so we party synced and he shared it with me and it worked and I got my achievement.

If anyone is having quest issues - I have the quest as a night fae and have not yet completed it, the sharing tactic seems to work - if anyone requires it and i'm online I can share - EU Horde Exephia-LaughingSkull - just poke me in game, will be completing it tomorrow 2/12/2020.

i guess you can level an alt and get the achivement since you probably have a character thats level 60 and use the venthyr covenant but its a long process and no one can do it @blizzard fix this

If you have chosen to level via Threads of fate and are like me wanted to pick up all the dungeon quest before spamming dungeons you start this quest chain by completing
An abuse of power that starts in Absolution Crypt at 71.8 40.39
then finishing the chain that ends with Hunting an Inquisitor at 72.98 52.08
and you can pick up Halls of Atonement: Your Absolution which will reward 49,950 xp 98g 34s 40c and Lord Chamberlain's Cloak
You Turn in it back at Absolution Crypt at 71.8 40.39 after completing the dungeon

It is 12/10/2020 and this bug still exists. I picked this up early on when leveling, and I killed Lord Chamberlain on N/H/M/M+ and it has not completed.

It doesn't seem possible to get this quest without having to do the quests leading up to it. All other dungeons have a quest that rewards a decent chunk of EXP with no requirements, except this and Plaguefall (which imo doesn't count) as the latter simply has a single breadcrumb quest that takes less than 15 seconds to finish. All the other dungeon quests are also available if you have picked the "Threads of Fate" option on an alt.

I don't understand why this decision was made by Blizzard. Dungeon quests should always be separate from the storyline.

I have the quest and do the dungeon, a few times now, and it just doesnt count my progress of killing the Lord Chamberlain...

Required for the Sojourner of Ravendreth? I play PVE because I suck at dungeons, raids etc. Wish Blizzard wouldn't make this a requirement.

1 An Abuse of Power	Quest start from The Accuser is inside crypt 71 40 enter. Press on Abused Soul and slay Shattered Soul.
2 The Proper Souls	Find and press on 4 Fugitive Soul. Do this Quest together with The Proper Tools and The Proper Punishment
3 The Proper Tools	Kill mobs and loot from them: Venthyr Ritual Robes, Venthyr Ritual Dagger and Venthyr Ritual Tome
4 The Proper Punishment	Slay Fata the Soulflayer 65 43. All 3 quests return to The Accuser 70 46.
5 Ritual of Absolution	Speak with The Accuser to start ritual then kill all mobs coming out.
6 Ritual of Judgment	Go to 74 49 and Speak with The Accuser to start ritual
7 Archivist Fane	See Archivist Fane 72 52 is in bulding.
8 The Sinstone Archive	Collect 100 Sinstone Records drop from mobs. Start this quest together with Missing Stone Fiend.

10 Atonement Crypt Key	When you will do quest The Sinstone Archive in drop you can get Atonement Crypt Key this is start quest Atonement Crypt Key. Go 70 55 and open crypt. Quest finish to Cryptkeeper Kassir
11 It Used to Be Quiet Here	Quest start from Chiselgrump 69 53. Pick up 8 Dredger Chisel most on ground.

I wish they would stop having dungeon quests in the outside world... especially locked behind a quest chain. You want to do these while you level. I just find it to be such a bizarre design after all these years. It's just weird because sometimes the quest IS picked up in a dungeon(even in this expansion).

You dont get the HoA Dungeon quest immediately like the three other quests. To get the Dungeon Quest for HoA you have to do the "An Abuse of Power" Questline (15 Quests).

Please tell me why he ~~insinuates~~ explicitly states that we, the collective Maw Walker -entity, "installed" the Lord Chamberlain to his current position? I've been reading all the quests and dialogue and even those awesome little Harvester tombstone things on the centrepiece of ~~the Class Hall~~ Sinfall, but I seem to have missed this... entirely. Did we have some say/influence in his being appointed/promoted to his current position?

If so... HOW? It's perplexing: we just got here. And why would anyone care to listen to us? The Master would, assumedly, be the one to appoint the Lord Chamberlain, so why would he even think about taking our obviously completely uneducated opinion into consideration regarding a ~~person~~ Venthyr about whom we know not a single thing? Isn't he basically a deity who can "will into existence"?

I'm deeply flummoxed and I really need an answer. It's like an itch in my brain I can't scratch. Gah.
Please help. I hate when my brain itches. It's wildly uncomfortable.
