If you havent done the quest from amphitheater of Anguish in zuldrak to kill this guy he does still give credit for the AV quest

you can literally can complete this quest in the zuldrak arena, quick before they hotfix it

Only head to the amphitheater of Anguish if you HAVENT done it, otherwise you cant do the "Cheat" method

What weapons does this quest give?
My fresh 120 toons are offered an i400 weapon but I don't see them listed here.

Hunter is offered a polearm and a crossbow.
My shammy was only offered a mace :(
Rogue only offered a 1h sword

What else we got?

The weapon rewards from this quest can also be bought at the Time-Displaced npc's in the Hillsbrad Foothills AV camps.
Time-Displaced Jorek Ironside for horde and Time-Displaced Thanthaldis Snowgleam for alliance.
You can only buy them after you completed the quest one time on your toon. Like for other specs or transmog.

Or, if you completed the quest before level 120, you can buy the 380 version when you are 120.

For those who HAVE done the ZulDrak arena quest chain, worry not; You can piggyback off someone else summoning him in THEIR quest chain. Which there are plenty of.

Amusingly for me, I don't know if he was just not loading texture wise or if he's invisible for those who have already killed him, but he aggro'd me on a toon that had done the quest chain and I was able to drop an AoE for the unseen troll. Got kill credit and quest credit.

For this quest, one of the factions needs to capture the Snowfall Graveyard, which is located
south west of Stonehearth Graveyard, and is the only graveyard neither faction owns.

Shortly after capturing it, Korrak will appear. He does NOT respawn after being killed. So if you
did not get him that first time, you will have to do another one to try and get him.

This mob is not shareable, if one faction tags him, he is grayed out and does not count for a
kill if the other factions kills him while he still has Alliance players attacking him. (Pretty sure
this is the case).

When this quest came out, most players were able to get Korrak as this quest was a must
complete for the high level weapon (at lvl 120, it is ilvl 400), and gives a tremendous amount
of experience.

Unfortunately, at this point in time, in my personal experience, most players all but ignore
Korrak and don't even bother to get him. So if you didn't complete this quest on alts in the
big rush near the beginning, you will most likely not be able to do it now. Don't bother asking,
9/10 most players on your team won't bother to take him down.

Like most of the NPCs, Korrak hits tremendously hard, easily 2-3 shotting most players
regardless of their class. Soloing him is not doable.

Originally, you could kite Korrak from the graveyard to the group, but upon testing, as of the
date of this post, this is no longer possible. At a certain distance (little over halfway down
the mountain), Korrak will automatically reset.

The one method that is doable is to kill the Korrak in Zul'drak, specifically in the Amphitheater
questline. He's easily soloable, but this isn't 100% reliable. I managed to do this for my Rogue,
but on my Paladin, I was not given credit for it. Not sure why this is, but...they may have either
hotfixed it, or it could just be an error.

Either way, the quest sucks, and Blizzard clearly did not think long term regarding it.

You can still complete 2019 anniversary quest from Amphitheater of Anguish in Zuldrak ( 48,56 - basically in the middle of the zone ) Quest chain takes very little time and can be easily soloed at higher levels.To get there quickly go through Dalaran Crystalsong Forest portal in Orgrimmar or Stormwind and fly to Amphitheater.

If you have completed the quest chain already on a character you can still get credit if you group up with someone who hasn't, so don't be annoying and steal someone else's summon ;-p . You need to be lvl 64 to start the quest chain and probably 90 to complete it easily solo.

Make sure when you kill Korrak that you get the completion of the battleground quest as it sometime glitches out - if this happens don't turn in the quest - abandon it & re-summon him again - actually don't hand in the quest even once you get credit for the anniversary quest - abandon the amphitheater quest & then you can summon Korrak anytime for anyone that needs him :-) Also make sure you don't hand in the anniversary quest until you reach 120 so you get the 400ilvl weapon.

Completing the Anni quest this way means that you aren't wasting your time (and others) by trying to do it in the BG - killing Korrak doesn't really benefit your raid group at all, in fact taking that graveyard can be a disadvantage for your team

Also this link https://www.wowhead.com/news=296203/korraks-revenge-timewarped-badge-items shows you what other gear (max 380 ilvl) you can buy with minimal honor & TW badges during Anni event. Alliance & Horde vendors are located in Hillsbrad Foothills - ref to map in link.....Update for 17th anniversary 2021 - item level is 164 for level 60s so not great as upgrades compared to 220 ilvl gear dropping from Originals and Doomwalker, but there are some nice transmorg items. Weapons cost 2 marks of honor and minimal TW badges and armor costs 1 mark of honor + TW badges.

Sucks that some specs simply get no love here. My shiny new 120 enhancement shammy has to pretend to be ele until I can find weapons for him, and losing out on a free 400 really hurts.

ATTENTION! If you are NOT level 120 when doing this quest, DO NOT TURN IT IN! At least wait until you ARE level 120, otherwise you will be offered sub level 400 weapons. ie, my level 70 Highmountain Tauren was offered item level 58 Ice Barbed Spear or Cold Forged Hammer. If she waits until level 120 to turn it in, she will get a choice of Cold Forged Hammer or Ice Barbed Spear, thought the level 400 versions, so it is well worth the wait. Just make sure you turn it in on or before Jan 7th,, when the event ends.

as of today december 27 2019, the northrend kill method still worked on my alliance character. it took like 6 tries but it worked.

Just be aware that when you go do Korrak in Zul Drak there can be a bunch of players there trying to steal it from you. I was spamming an instant cast and still lost the kill.

Because that's the kind of players this game has...

As of 8-11-2020 I can confirm that this quest cannot be shared, can be completed, but cannot be turned in. Per a GM:

The Legend of Korrak cannot be turned in now that the anniversary event is over. That's intended.

You can safely drop it from your quest log to save a spot for other quests. If the Legend of Korrak comes back next year, you'll be able to pick it up at that time.

Killing Korrak in the Amphitheater of Anguish in Zul'drak Still works as of 9.0. Just got credit on my paladin.

Amphitheater of Anguish in Zul'Drak still works for 2020 event, if you haven't done it already, if you have you will need someone to do the summoning.

For the high level characters out there:
Korrak from Amphitheater of Anguish in Zul'Drak still works for 2020 event(November).
If you have completed the quest you wont be able to start the chain that you will need to summon Korrak in there so just find someonelse (a helper) to do that for you.
If you have no idea what it is then follow this:
1. Get someone to help you that never did the quests in the Amphitheater of Anguish in Zul'Drak
2. Make your helper go to old Dalaran (Dalaran,Crystalsong Forest portal in Orgrimmar) and get The Champion's Call! from Shifty Vickers, it's a goblin npc patroling Underbelly - the sewers of Dalaran
3. Go to Amphitheater of Anguish in Zul'Drak around 47,57 (the desing is clear on the map)
4. Make your helper complete the quest on Gurgthock and start the chain of quest where will need to kill the first 4 champions in the arena (Yggdras, Magnataur, Elemental Lord and Tuskarrmageddon)
ATENTION: Right now they are all bugged so need to be ready to get them kill as soon they are hostile, if that fail just make your helper start the quest again.
5. Now your helper should have The Amphitheater of Anguish: Korrak the Bloodrager! and you finally get your Korrak kill credit for The Legend of Korrak

My helper was my husband's Demon Hunter. In order to share the kill with others I just kept abandoning the quest The Amphitheater of Anguish: Korrak the Bloodrager! after people got the kill and just starting it again and again.

Zul'drak quest "trick" still works for 2022. Note that you still have to queue and get back into AV to turn in quest though.

According to legend, the leader of the mighty Winterax trolls appears at will to wreak havoc on the denizens of Alterac Valley.

Should Korrak make himself known, destroy him and return to Warmaster Laggrond.

Description

The invading Stormpike are not the only threat in the region, soldier. The war in the Valley is waged on two fronts. The cannibal Winterax trolls also vie for power.

They are lead by Korrak the Bloodrager - a cruel and cunning beast.

A strike against Korrak could prove to be a crushing blow to the Winterax clan. Slay the beast and be rewarded!
