Because the quest objectives are less than clear, you need to kill the HK-3 Aerial Dissuasion Unit that patrols off the west coast of the main island, the Insurgent Crawler wandering around the northern wall of Junkwatt's Depot around 54, 54, and the Insurgent Cycloid, which wanders in the area around 54, 28 above the trog dens. Each will drop one part needed for the quest.

Going to the north, then south and then southwest, I found this order easier:)

To the left of Uncle T'Rogg's cave is a gear suspended in the air. It's through a gap in the rocks, behind that.)
Note: This NPC moves a bit southeast of this point, along a ridge, which is where I saw it spawn.

Go here: /way 53 52
(Go south of the previous point, under the "S" of "Scrapbone Den", just north of Junkwatt Depot's northern wall.)
Note: This NPC moves in what looks like a clockwise direction, then southeast to and along the wall.

Go here: /way 34 75
(Go southwest of where it says "Junkwatt Depot", approximately level with the "O" of "The Outflow".)
Note: This NPC moves a touch south and quite far north of this point, which is where I saw it spawn.

Please note that I have deliberately use whole numbers for the waypoints. This is because the NPCs move and one experience will differ from another. Go to these points and you'll see the NPCs nearby. If not, then the NPC has been killed or is moving. Wait a few seconds and you will see the NPC.

You can always use the good old target macro (which targets the NPC and puts a raid marker on it, to make it easier to see):
(Replace "Insurgent Cycloid" with the name of whatever you're looking for. I leave the icon on my action bar and just tweak the macro, as needed.)

For those vaguely interested in Blizzard's pop-culture references; this is a reference to the opening sequence of each episode of "The Six Million Dollar Man", a show about an astronaut who, following a near-fatal crash that destroyed some of his limbs, was 're-built' from cybernetic parts.

The dialogue is as follows: "We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man, Steve Austin will be that man. Better... stronger... faster."

Description

King Mechagon may have been crazy, but his minions did have exemplary robotic creation capabilities. There are a few residual creations wandering Mechagon. Refusing to accept King Mechagon's dethroning. The logical conclusion to defeat is withdrawal, if one remains operational. Some do not excel at logic. They currently bear the latest in technical advancement. I believe retrieving specific pieces from these units would greatly benefit our recovery endeavor.
