This was kind of bugged when I did it. After witnessing the ritual, I got on my dredger and went over to kill 25 Rampaging Devourers. After they were killed, the quest objective disappeared so I was unaware of what I needed to do next. When I walked over to Rendle and dismounted, the game became unresponsive so I had to use Task Manager to close WoW.

This happened three times before the quest objective updated and showed I needed to kill 3 Invading Riftkeepers to close the rifts. When those were down, then I had to kill Charthox.

I found the best way to kill him is to hit him, then run down to the muck. That way, as your health gets low, you can stomp, stun him, and heal by drinking the muck. You'll get almost full health back by the time he is no longer stunned. I kept that up until he died. Very easy quest once it showed me what was the next part.

This time around I had no problems with the quest start to finish. I still went up to the big guy and hit him once then down to the water. I only needed to heal once, but nice that I was right there when I needed it.

After the quest I found Forgotten Angler's Rod at /way 73.16, 75.16 which dropped Bootus Shocks for me. Someone else posted on the Forgotten Angler's Rod page that it summoned Muckribbon and gave him a Bat Visage Bobber.

I think he got the better loot :D

To close the rift, you just need to kill the Riftkeepers. It bugged at first for me and killing them didn't work, but I jumped off the back and back on and it worked.

Riftkeepers are on the far end of the pool...near the next part of killing Charthox

So what's with Dredger Mucking 101 cast on you when you hand in this quest since for me it didn't seem to do anything and going by my log it wasn't even cast on me.

Wait, I'm confused now. Weren't we supposed to create some actual dredgers (not disposable ones) after building that giant for protection? We even got the "Dredger Mucking 101" buff to do so, but there's no follow-up.

It appears you have to kill all 3 Rift Keepers and presumably the Devourers before killing Charthox will give you credit. I had killed the Devourers and closed one of the rifts before I killed Charthox. I then closed the other 2 rifts and discovered I still need to to kill Charthox.

So tl;dr - kill Charthox last

I present Dirty Jobs Storyline. This Story line have 5 Quests. This Story line is a part of Sojourner of Revendreth.

Quest Name:	Start and description
1 Not My Job	Quest start from Rendle 67 68 Revendreth. You need to see him at 72 73 is He will be not there just wait.
2 It's a Dirty Job	Throw 6 Filthy Rubble into the muck pool. They are next to pool just press on them.
3 Dredger Duty	Pick up Ripened Dredger 72 73 and throw him in to Pile of Rubble 73 73 then defende Him. After He finish pick up Gem of Binding.
4 We're Gonna Need a Bigger Dredger	Be a witness the ritual.
5 Running a Muck	"Jump on Bootus ( You will have 4 skills, use 1-2 to kill mobs, 3 to move faster, 4 for heal ) now you need to do : - Slay 25 mobs - close 3 portals by killing Invading Riftkeeper. When you done 2 of the above You need to slay Charthox 75 76. That is finishing Storyline and You will learn Dredger Mucking 101."

I slayed 25 devourers, but I had difficulty drinking from the muckpuddle to restore health (actionbar button number 4) and Bootus was losing health, so I dismounted Bootus. He was waiting for me back where I first got on him at /way 72.8 73.8, and ready to go finish off the Riftkeepers.

(I was able to drink from the muck pool after that, by standing right in it.)

I had some problems killing Charthox. You can't get up the hill, kill the constant adds and have enough health at the top to finish him. If you jump off Bootus, and kill Charthox, you won't get credit for it. You have to ignore the adds on the way up, get to the top and stun Charthox, then jump off the front into the muck and get back to full health. Chart will follow you down next to the muck and after the first stun/hit you can kill the adds and drink from the muck by stepping about one or two steps back and you will just have Chartox to kill standing right in front of you..
